POV: Humphrey JR

A week has gone 의해 and today was practice for the 500, in the 차고 area I met some other drivers like former champions, legends and some rookies, the drivers that was in my rookie class was, Matt Kenseth, Dave Blaney, and some other drivers I also met some of The legend drivers like Dale Jarret, Mark Martin, Richard Petty (AKA the king), Terry Labonte, Jeff Gordon, Rusty Wallace, Geoff Bodine, and some other drivers. It was time for practice so I got to my car which was the first time I ever stepped into the car, it was comfortable like soft foam 좌석 was like if I was sitting on a cloud, I strapped in waited for my crew chief which who was my older cousin named Tony Eury Jr to give me the thumbs up to roll out. They finally told me to run some laps then comeback, when I drove onto the track and started build up speed the track was a lot wider then what I expected it to be, the track was like if you'd put two highways 다음 to each other. I'm now on the track in my #8 car, I finally reach the backstretch as I start to go full speed while I shift up to forth the final gear. My spotter named Todd Parrott "alright bud I'm gonna need 당신 to run some lap times for me and we'll see what we need to do with your car alright" I then reply saying " Ten-four" when I turn on turn 3 and 4 my car snapped loose making me wiggle but I caught it and kept going Todd:" whoa that was a close one, how bad is it?" I replied "well if I barely turn it kinda snaps loose" Todd:" alright, make two laps and see if it gets any better" I then make it across the finish line starting my lap time Todd:" your on a clock now" I turn my car down to the inside of turn 1 and 2 but when I exited turn 2 my car went sideways but I caught it before it got outta control Todd:" is it that bad?" I replied "kinda" then coming from behind some drivers drafted me and 슬링 shoting pass me, 의해 the cars numbers of 45, 88, 24, 10, 97, 42, and 19. there was three cars the slowed down to draft with me and run with me, the numbers on those three cars was 15, 20, and 3. The three was my dad and the 15 was another teammate of mine name Micheal Waltrip, and the twenty was my best friend Tony Stewart. When I headed to turn three and four my father got to the outside of me and I got to the bottom of the track 다음 to the aprons yellow line which meant 당신 cannot pass below that line and the only time 당신 go under there is if your heading to the pits, avoiding a crash, 또는 when your letting the leaders by. when I exited turn 4 my car then snapped loose again but I could catch it this time. Tony and Micheal both went around me to avoid me as I went spinning across the 앞치마 and headed towards the outside 벽 but before I got close to the 벽 I started to brake and gas it avoiding the 벽 and coming to a complete stop Todd:" 당신 alright bud? 당신 took a quite a spin" I replied "yeah it almost made me puke" Todd then just burst out laughing as I carefully with two of my four tires flat headed towards the pits and to the garage.
