Chapter 2: A New Visitor

Meanwhile, somewhere near the pack border a pink-gray 늑대 with a mane that nearly covers both her eyes is seen walking toward the western side of the territory.
"This place is beautiful." the pink-gray 늑대 thought to herself as she looked around staring at 꽃 and trees as she passes them.
Then the pink-gray 늑대 enters a clearing and stops at the edge of cliff to look around the area to see multiple 늑대 playing 또는 watching over their pups 또는 home.
"Wow." The female 늑대 says as she saw the other wolves. "Maybe they can tell me where I am."
"You're in Jasper Park, Canada." A voice says, catching the 늑대 의해 surprise and causing her to look to her left to see Hutch.
"Come again?" she asks.
"I said you're in Jasper Park, Canada, the territory of the Central Pack." Hutch says politely, "The name's Hutch, what's yours?"
"Wildflower." The pink-gray 늑대 said blushing a bit as she was a bit in 사랑 with Hutch as she never a 늑대 that looked like him before.
"Wildflower, that's a good name for a 늑대 as beautiful as you." Hutch says, unaware he let what he thinking slip out as the female before him 스톨, 훔친 his heart.
"Pardon?" Wildflower says in surprise.
"Oh! Sorry. I let that slip out." Hutch says nervously.
"Don't worry about it." Wildflower giggles, blushing slightly from what Hutch said.
"So, mind if I show 당신 around?" Hutch says.
"Not at all." Wildflower replies, "Lead the way!"
"Okay." Hutch says walking off with Wildflower following.
Hutch then enters the area where the other 늑대 Wildflower saw.
"The area your in right now is the western side of the Central Pack," Hutch tells Wildflower. "The leaders here are Winston and Eve, but soon they'll give their leadership to their daughter Kate and her mate Humphrey."
"Hold on a moment," Wildflower says stopping. "Does this 'Humphrey' have 모피 in different shades of gray, blue eyes, and is a fun-loving type?"
"Yes, why?" Hutch asks before realizing why she asked him about Humphrey, "You know him, don't you?"
Wildflower nods her head.
"Come with me." Hutch says running off with Wildflower chasing after him.
Meanwhile, Humphrey is seen stalking Kate, he gets closer to her as she seems to not notice him. Humphrey then pounces, but Kate swiftly dodges him and he goes headfirst into the hole of a 나무, 트리 stump.
"Nice try, Humphrey," Kate says, "but remember to be quiet 다음 time 당신 pounce otherwise you'll alert your target."
"Keep quiet the whole time so I don't alert the target, okay." Humphrey says, "Now can 당신 please get me out of here?"
"Sure." Kate says and pulls on Humphrey's tail with her jaws.
"Ow! Ow! Ow! My tail!" Humphrey yells in pain.
"You told me too!" Kate says, still pulling.
"I never said to grab my tail!" Humphrey yells.
Then in an instant, Humphrey pops out of the hole and Kate falls onto her back with Humphrey landing back-first on 상단, 맨 위로 of her.
"Thanks." Humphrey says, climbing off Kate.
"No problem." Kate says, climbing to her feet, "You know, it's nearly lunchtime and I need to go get some caribou for the pack."
"Okay." Humphrey says, "See 당신 when get back!"
"Okay!" Kate says, running off.
Kate reaches the place where Garth, Claw, Scar, and Can-do are waiting.
"Sorry if I'm late." Kate says, "Got a little held up."
"Don't worry about it." Garth says, "Now let's get lunch."
"Okay." Kate says, following Garth, Claw, and the others.
Meanwhile, Hutch and Wildflower enter a small valley and Hutch stops.
"What is it?" Wildflower asks him.
"Just looking around," Hutch replies, "Caribou are known to stampede through this area."
"Oh, that's reasonable." Wildflower says.
"Looks clear, let's go!" Hutch says, trotting through the area with Wildflower following him.
Meanwhile, Kate and the others are stalking some Caribou in the same valley. Kate gets closer to the Caribou and signals Garth, Claw, and Scar on the other side to attack. Then Claw and Scar jump from their hiding spot and pounce toward the caribou, spooking them and causing them to run in Kate and Can-do's direction and they jump, hoping to get their jaws on the caribou, but they miss and the five 늑대 run after the deer. Garth, Claw, and Scar follow the Caribou around a bend, but they come back.
"Run for it!" Claw yells to Kate and Can-do.
Kate and Can-do stop after hearing Claw.
"Don't tell me…" Kate says nervously.
Then a herd of Caribou come running toward her and Can-do.
"Run?" Can-do asks Kate.
"Yes, run." Kate says nervously.
Then Kate and Can-do turn around, running after Garth, Claw, and Scar.
"Scatter to the sides!" Kate yells and Garth, Can-do, and Scar run up a ledge on one side of the small valley while Kate joins Claw and goes up the other side.
Meanwhile Hutch and Wildflower are still walking through the valley until the ground starts shaking.
"Hutch?" Wildflower says frightened.
"I know." Hutch says, looking around.
Meanwhile, the hunting party has already gotten to 안전한, 안전 locations.
"That was close." Kate says.
"True, but I don't think it'll be for them." Claw says, pointing to a pair of
늑대 ahead of the herd. Kate looks and notices the two wolves.
"Hutch! Look out!" Kate yells.
Hutch, having been alerted 의해 Kate sees the stampeding Caribou.
"Run!" Hutch yells, running in the direction the caribou are going.
Wildflower looks and notices the Caribou, then she runs after Hutch.
"We gotta help them!" Kate says, "Come with me!"
Kate runs off with Claw following. Meanwhile, Hutch and Wildflower are still running trying to avoid being trampled 의해 the caribou.
"Faster Wildflower, faster!" Hutch yells
"I'm going as fast as I can!" Wildflower yells back.
Then the caribou start catching up to the pair.
"They're too fast, we'll never make it!" Wildflower says starting to panic.
Just then, Claw jumps in and grabs Hutch and Kate grabs Wildflower, causing the four of them to roll under a log. Then the group waits until the caribou pass and the come out off the shelter after the dust clears.
"Are 당신 alright?" Kate asks Hutch.
"I'm fine." Hutch replies.
Kate turns to Wildflower.
"I don't remember seeing around here before, what's your name?" Kate asks the pink-gray wolf.
"Wildflower." Wildflower responds.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Kate, and this here is Claw." Kate says pointing to Claw, "Are 당신 new here?"
"I don't think she's new to Jasper, Kate." Hutch says, "I think she's been here before because she knows Humphrey."
"You know my mate?" Kate asks Wildflower.
"Yes," Wildflower replies, "I've known him since I was a pup, do 당신 know where he is?"
"Yes," Kate says, "Follow me."
Kate walks off with Wildflower and Hutch following.
"Claw, make sure the rest of the hunting party gets home." Kate tells Claw.
"Okay." Claw replies, running off to find Garth, Scar, and Can-do.
Later, Kate finds Humphrey with Lilly, Garth, and his Omega friends.
"Humphrey!" Kate says.
"Hey Kate." Humphrey says as his mate stops in front of him. "There's no need to tell about the hunt, I saw everything."
"What about when Claw and I saved Hutch and another 늑대 from the stampede?" Kate asks him.
"No, I didn't see that." Humphrey replies, "Why?"
"Because, the other 늑대 Claw and I saved is actually looking for you." Kate says pointing to Wildflower who had just come up.
"Her?" Humphrey says, "She's does seem a bit familiar."
"Then go talk to her." Kate says, giving Humphrey a push toward Wildflower.
"Okay." Humphrey says back, then he walks up to Wildflower. "So, I heard 당신 were looking for me, right?"
"Yes," Wildflower responds, "Remember me?"
"Uh, no." Humphrey says confused and surprised 의해 her question, "But 당신 do seem familiar."
Wildflower playfully scoffs at Humphrey, "Seriously? I'm Wildflower, remember a couple years ago, when we were still pups? 당신 I had the same family!"
Humphrey, takes a moment to think.

Flashback
Humphrey and Wildflower are seen as pups, having fun with each other. Then Humphrey tackles Wildflower with a playful "Pinned ya" look on his face.

Humphrey comes back into reality as he slowly remembers who Wildflower is.
"Wildflower," Humphrey says, starting to remember Wildflower, "You're my-?"
Wildflower nods and an excited grin appears on Humphrey's face and he tackles Wildflower, much to everyone else's surprise.
"How long has it been!?" Humphrey excitedly asks Wildflower as he pins the pink-gray female 늑대 on her back.
"About 2 years." Wildflower says nuzzling Humphrey.
"Hey, wait," Kate interrupts, "Humphrey, is Wildflower here your old girlfriend?"
"Girlfriend!?" Humphrey says, still excited, "Wildflower's actually my little sister!"
Humphrey nuzzles Wildflower back as Kate stares at them in surprise.
"Little sister?" Kate asks them, Wildflower nods, "Wow and I thought I was the only 늑대 in this family who had one!"
"Well, now 당신 have a sister-in-law." Humphrey says, climbing off of Wildflower and helping her to her feet.
"Well, it's nice to see that Humphrey has some family on his side." Kate says to Wildflower.
"And it's also nice to see that he found a mate too." Wildflower replies, "Mind if I meet your family?"
"Not at all." Kate says walking over to Lilly. "This here is my younger sister, Lilly."
"Nice to meet you, I'm Wildflower." Wildflower says kindly to Lilly.
"Same here, and this is my mate, Garth" Lilly, responds pointing to her mate.
"Boy, aren't 당신 a handsome one?" Wildflower asks Garth.
"You got that right." Garth says, "But I'm no snob as I do care about Lilly."
"I can see that." Wildflower responds upon seeing Lilly nuzzle Garth. Then she turns to the other three. "Who might 당신 guys be?"
"I'm Salty." the thin and big-eyed gray one says.
"I'm Shakey" the shorter brown-gray one says.
"And I'm Mooch." the overweight tan-gray one says.
"We're 프렌즈 of your older brother." Shakey says.
"Nice to meet you." Wildflower says. "So, Humphrey, how about 당신 show me around
since I've been gone for a long time?"
"Sure." Humphrey says, "Follow me."
Humphrey walks off and Wildflower tilts her head to tell Hutch to follow her and he does when she walks after Humphrey.
