It was two weeks after mating season in Jasper Park. Kate and Humphrey had their 사랑 ritual and Kate got preganant. Kate and Humphrey were walking along when Kate's water broke. Humphrey rushed Kate to the alpha 굴, 덴 where Eve helped Kate with getting the single pup out. "He's beautiful." Kate said. "yea he is pretty cute haha." Humphrey laughed. "what do 당신 want to name him?" Kate asked. "Do 당신 like Alex?" Humphrey asked. "thats perfect" Kate said. Lilly and Gerth also had a pup named Austin.

(one 년 later)

Alex and Austin were hanging out together when Spike and 슬래쉬 two alpha's came over "look at the shrimpy little freak" the 늑대 said. "Leave him alone" Austin said. "let's go" 슬래쉬 said to Spike. Alex ran 집 and began to cry in his den.
"Whats the matter hun?" Kate asked her child. "Slash and Spike keep bullying me, please teach me to hunt mom i need to learn." Alex pleaded. "not until your a 년 and half Alex we've told 당신 this" Kate said. Humphrey walked up "We'll teach 당신 to hunt soon Alex." Humphrey said. "Leave me alone now I hate 당신 guys." Alex said. "Let him have his 우주 hun." Humphrey said to Kate. Kate was in shock and started crying into Humphrey's fur.

(That night)

Alex snuck out of the 굴, 덴 and went over to Austin's den. "Austin wake up." Alex said. "What the hell it's the middle of the night what are 당신 doing here!" Austin exclaimed. "Do wanna come with me i'm running away." Alex replied. "are 당신 crazy 당신 won't last one 일 out there i'm not coming and 당신 can't go, now go back to your den." Austin said angrily as he watched Alex head back to his den. As soon as Austin turned his head away Alex ran off. Alex went to the edge of the forest where the train tracks were. Right as Alex got there a train was coming with one open train car. Alex leaped and got in the train car and laid down. "No one cares about me." Alex said to himself. Alex fell asleep after crying for a little bit and kept having nightmares about dieing alone.

Alex woke up and decided he's went far enough on the train and jumped off when he got the 다음 chance too. Alex began to get really hungry so he sniffed the air and picked up the scent of caribou and thought to himself "I can train myself i bet." Alex ran to wear the scent was the strongest and saw two caribou eating, he went to bite the neck how he saw his mom and dad do it but he bit it on it's back the caribou started bucking and Alex fell off and got kicked in the head knocking him out. A female 늑대 came out of no where and scared off the two caribou and drug Alex back to her 굴, 덴 and started licking his wounds trying to make them better. Alex came to and said "who are 당신 and why are 당신 helping me?" "I'm Sally and i noticed 당신 couldn't hunt that well and 당신 needed help so I helped you, now stop moving so much your still bleeding a little bit." Sally said. "thank you, your the first person that's actually helped me I ran away from home." Alex said. "why'd 당신 run away?" Sally asked. "no ones cares about me." Alex responded. "i'm sure thats not true your a very kind wolf." Sally said. "Thanks haha, Ouch" Alex wonced in pain as he tried to get up but fell back down. "Hold on your still seriously hurt 당신 took a caribous leg to the face." Sally said. "Yea i can tell but i can't really remember trying to hunt." Alex said. "Do 당신 want me to teach you?" Sally asked. "you'd do that for me?" Alex asked. "Why not 당신 won't hurt me." Sally said. "how can 당신 tell?" Alex said. because your not trying right now." Sally said. I'm going to go to sleep if 당신 don't mind to rest up for tommorow." Alex said weakly. "Go ahead you'll need your strength." Sally said.

Alex woke up and saw Sally was already up and put some turkey in front of him. "Eat up" Sally said. "Thanks" Alex said as he tore into it. "So how old are you" Sally asked. "just over a 년 old." Alex replied. "me too haha" Sally said. ALex finished the turkey and with that the two 늑대 walked into the woods and began to train for hunting
