Can anyone suggest a good vampire series( T.V 또는 a book)?

but the shows i find have little to do with the books! both cool though! just like vampire diaries the series and the 책 are different stories! also i don't like what they did with elena and stephan, its like they tries to copy twilight's bella and her guy. not cool! elena is BLOND for god's sake!

i would say vampire academy bcuz its a terrific book i havent seen the series but i think its gonna b gud 2 but i think that vampire academy is wayyyyy better than twilight and im a HUGE 팬 of twilight

Thank you! I tell people the exact same thing. I became a 팬 of 뱀파이어 before everyone totally contaminated it with the goopy, teenybopper stuff. Not that I don't understand why it wouldn't appeal to some people in the right situations, but I'm tired of it already! There's too much romanticizing. One thing: 당신 shouldn't forget "'Salem's Lot". Talk about 뱀파이어 연기 like vampires.

RIP Jennfer Rardin...the 7th book - Bitten in Two was just released in November. The last in the series wil be released June 2011. Jennifer Rardin had a great sense humor and I laughed so much while 읽기 her books. She will be missed. My 심장 goes out to her family.

Vampire Chronicle 의해 anne 쌀 (my absolute favorite). They are a classic!!! although this isn't about teenagers in love, but 더 많이 serious. If u want romance try the vampire diaries (one of my faves), vampire kisses, twilight, vampire academy, blue bloods, etc there so many!

BUT~ if your going to watch any tv shows 또는 영화 based on some of these books, read the 책 first as there is a lot of stuff left out of the tv shows & movies.

there were a couple vamp 책 that i read that i didnt like though, like "blue bloods," it was kinda weird. The only vamp book that i ever started and didnt finish was "Thirst" it was really creepy lol.

For TV shows, deff watch the vampire diaries. It's the most addictive show ive ever seen lol. It's coming back on in septemeber for season two.

영화 - deff twilight and new moon. eclipse is coming out 다음 month, and breaking dawn will be two movies, the first released in november 2011. The 책 are wayyy better though!

If 당신 enjoy young adult books, I would try Blue Bloods. It's probably my 가장 좋아하는 vampire book series because of its portrayal of vampires. It's a totally different scenario, but it has some excellent plots and it's pretty intense, in my opinion.

Any ultimate vampire 팬 must read Anne 쌀 novels. Any of them are wonderful, so those would be interesting to go out and try.

For TV shows, I am a 팬 of True Blood, given my new view after 읽기 the books. If you're a 팬 of the 책 또는 not, it's still a wonderful TV show. And is also very interesting.

Buffy and 앤젤 are classics! Fun to watch, definitely recommended, but I don't have a huge evaluation.

Finally, Moonlight is a great series. I just watched a few episodes of it today, and found it completely fascinating. It's easy to get hooked, and I think it follws with the "classic" vampires, but with a new twist.

I would HIGHLY recommend The Hollows series 의해 Kim Harrison. It's about a witch, Rachel 모건 who lives and works in an old Church with her two partners. Ivy a 'living' vampire and a pixie name Jenks. Great vampires, great world building. Plus lots of other species, were's banshee's trolls, elves, demons. It starts with Dead Witch Walking. It is NOT a paranormal romance series. It does have romance, but does not focus on that romance. It's action, it's horror, it's comedy all rolled into one. It's not YA. It is adult. So make sure 당신 take note of that. Nothing too graphic, but there are 사랑 scenes.
