All the episodes he is in are hilarious!

I know- they're classics. I really love him as a character too. I'm really hoping they bring him back before the end of the season.

I kinda hope they bring him back but only if it fits and not just because he's a god character and the fans like him. Yes those reasons should influence their decision but don't just have him come back for the sake of it have him fit in some how.

Also I have this theory that the trickster doesn't want Lilith in power and by doing what he did to Sammy in MS he was trying to make him stronger and more prepared for what was then going to happen in his life.
This might just be me putting a random spin on what happened in MS after Dean really died on the Wednesday. But the trickster did say something to Sammy about what was to come, I'm sure of it!

If they could get the trickster in so that him being there made sense, either furthering the story or helping the story along, then that would be awesome!

I agree about your theory em! I've always thought that the Trickster was trying to help Sam (in his own weird way).

Same here, I always thought the Trickster wasn't really a baddy, and his character is simply awesome. Hope they find out what he meant by "That's for me to know, and for you to find out."
