as much as I like to think that he is for some reason it seems like he's actually gone. I think he'll come back in later episodes, but not as a living character

However, I agree with TmoVie. He'll most likely appear in some form in episodes to come. I agree, since in an article I read it mentioned something about this being the end of the character's "full time status." However, it won't be as a lving character

I dont know i think with the whole time travel thing its possible he could come back i really hope he does hes such a good charcter

As much as it pains me. He is gone I think. Maybe he will appear in flashbacks, like what he was doing in Ann Arbor but other than that I think he is dead. If they bring him back as well I think it would cheapen his death as being pushed by his mother to go to hte Island just so her younger self could kill him was such a great twist. Bye Dan, you will be sorely missed!!!

there may just be a SMALL possibility. and if there is, i'm not bringing my hopes up too high...i can't believe that happened! i'm soooo mad! this always happens to my faves! Boone, Charlie, i'll skip a few and Daniel. =(

I agree with TmoVie. As much as I would like for him to be alive I don't think he is. I hope that we at least see him in flashbacks.
