Prior to arrival on the island

After the events of LaFleur, Daniel along with Sawyer, Juliet, Miles, and Jin are shunted through time and stranded sometime in 1974. Sawyer is able to bluff the Dharma Initiative of this time into giving his "crew" jobs/positions within the Dharma Initiative on the island. Daniel would end up assisting the group in the construction of the Orchid Station. This appears to have taken place in the late 1970's. Presumably, much of the information about the Dharma Initiative that Daniel would end up compiling in his notebook...

Now as 당신 can tell this spot is for 팬 of Daniel Faraday. I just thought I would outline why I believe he deserves a spot. Dan arrice on our screens early 2008 in season 4 episode 1. However he was only in the episode for a few seconds. The 다음 episode is where we finally got to meet the man himself. I instantly took a liking to him as I could see straight away he wasnt just a normal guy. The way he talked right from the off showed that he was actually a very interesting and complex character.
The first full episode with him in was 4x02 where him, Jack and Kate were searching for his crew...

As many of 당신 may know Daniel Faraday departed from our screens on 로스트 a few days ago. It is not 100% confirmed that he is dead but I think form the last episode we can assume he is.

Now Daniel was one of my favourite characters from the moment he arrived on the island in the final few 초 of "4x01 The Beginning of the End". Straight away I could tell that he was going to be such an influential, inspirational and awesome character. The 다음 episode gave us a lot 더 많이 of Dan and built his character.
