So, after 6 years of being here…I just realized I never 게시됨 on 기사 on my own personal club. It’s just that it never crossed my mind to post an 기사 (not that I write much 기사 anyways) on here and I never got a topic to post about (I’m not the one to write about my 가장 좋아하는 movies, media and things, I don’t do that). So today I decided to write an 기사 for myself, and it’s about how I discovered and joined Fanpop. I don’t know how I remember every detail of this, but I certainly do.
When I was in middle school, in grade 7th, me and my 프렌즈 became obsessed with anime. We would talk and discuss about different animes, our 가장 좋아하는 characters and watch many of them together. One of my close 프렌즈 at that time recommended me an 아니메 called ‘Angel Beats!’ I saw the first episode and fell in 사랑 with the anime. I immediately searched about in online so I could save 사진 and share it with my friends. One of the 사진 was from this site. I was intrigued 의해 the name ‘Fanpop’ and clicked on the 사진 which redirected me to 앤젤 Beats Fanclub on here. I saw people uploading images, videos, links, and 기사 in the 팬 club. There were 투표 where people were giving their opinions and commenting. Also, the 포럼 and 팬 글쓰기 on the wall….it was so cool. 12-year-old me was very fascinated. I had never seen such a site like this before, all of this was new to me. 팬팝 seemed quite amazing. I decided that I should sign in and create an account as I wanted to have fun too. And that’s how………. I joined Fanpop.
While I’m here, I wanna give a shout-out to my very first 팬 on here who added me on their 팬 list first (I didn’t know anything about adding and 팬 list thing back then). It was Chibi-Chipette. Thank 당신 Chibi-Chipette for being my first fan!
This 년 marks my 6 years on being here. It’s a very mixed experience, but I had my fun and made few good 프렌즈 who remember me even now and always welcome me whenever I stop by. I’ve temporarily moved on from this site and only come when I remember about my account that exists on here. 팬팝 has become a nostalgic place for me, where I relive my memories from my childhood, the conversations I had with my friends, the 코멘트 I wrote on, the content I uploaded on different clubs. Everything gives me a glimpse of how I was when I was just a teenager having fun and spending so much time on here without a care for the world. Things have drastically changed, I’m no longer teenager, I’m a young adult now and I have to set my priorities straight and take my responsibilities of life as it comes by.
In the end, I will say and I never regretted my decision 또는 the time I spent on here. If anything, I’m glad I discovered 팬팝 and joined it. I can say without any hesitation that it was worth it. All the laughs, all the smiles, the props, the medals, the friends…it will be always worth it.
