"Allison Margret, get up. We're going to be late," Renee Jonas said from the kitchen.

Fifteen 분 later, a seventeen 년 old girl walked into the kitchen, wear a short sleeve t-shirt, hoodie, blue jeans, a pair of Converse, and a baseball hat that was on backwards.

"I've been up since six. You're the one who makes us late," the teenager stated. "If 당신 hadn't divoriced Dad, I wouldn't always be late."

"Don't mention you're father," Mom said. "I really wish 당신 would dress 더 많이 neatly, Allie."

"Whatever," Allie muttered as she picked up the keys to the car. "I'm driving."

"You don't have a license," Mom argued.

"I have my permit," Allie stated as she headed to the front door. "Besides I need to go to the 도서관, 라이브러리 before homeroom. I'll get us there faster, since I don't drive fifteen miles an hour."

Allie sat in the library, 읽기 a book on multi-verse theory during her free period.

"Why do 당신 bother researching that stuff," a girl said as she sat across from Allie. "We both know it's not real."

"I'm just curious, Nikki The same way 당신 are about 뱀파이어 and ghost," Allie explained not looking up from the book.

"How did we become best 프렌즈 again," Nikki joked.

"We're both crazy and that fifth grader from when we were in 초 grade," Allie stated.

Allie Jonas was sitting in bedroom while working on a thesis paper for what she read in the library, doing what homework she had wondering what her life might be like if her father hadn't done the things he did, when all of a sudden she was blinded 의해 a bright white light.

When the light faded in front of her was a man with wings.

"Wh-who are you," Allie asked still in shock.

"I am your guardian angel, Allison," the 앤젤 replied.

"What are 당신 doing here," Allie asked.

"To give 당신 a 초 chance," the 앤젤 replied.

"Why," Allie asked.

"Look around you," the 앤젤 said. "What do 당신 see?"

Allie looked around her room and said, "I see a mess."

"Correct. Is this really how 당신 want to live the rest of your life," the 앤젤 asked.

"No," Allie stated.

"Don't just dream of what it would be like to have the perfect family, anymore," the 앤젤 said. "Live it."

Just then Allie felt the room spinning all around her. She then fell on her back and closed her eyes.

Allie woke up to the sound of of a familiar voice she hadn't heard in years

"Come on Allie," the man called from somewhere in the house. "It's time for school."

Allie sat up groggily and climb down the ladder of her bunk bed.

She then went about her normal routine, got dressed for school, brushed her hair, got her backpack, and headed downstairs for breakfast.

As soon as she entered the kitchen, she got the strangest feeling of deja vu, but how could she know what that was, she was only six years old.

"Morning sleepy-head," Dad said with a smile as he walked toward her.

Instinctively she back up for some reason. She wasn't sure why she, but she just did.

Dad looked at her curiously and said, "What's wrong, sweetie?"

"Nothing Daddy," Allie replied, giving her father a hug.

"Did 당신 sleep okay," Dad asked concerned.

"Yes," Allie answered, as she sat down at the table. "What's for breakfast?"

"Chocolate chip pancakes," Dad said placing a plate of 팬케이크 in front her.

Allie was sitting in on a front porch when a familiar face appeared in front of her.

"What's going on," Allie asked, looking up at the man.

"Your 초 chance," the man replied. "This is your chance to turn things around for yourself and family. 당신 have knowledge of the future and knowledge way beyond any six 년 old has ever had, but use it wisely and only when needed."

"Why do I get 초 chance," Allie asked.

"You've earned it. 당신 spent your whole life miserable, but remained good and pure. Now 당신 have a chance to live the life you've always dreamed of having," the man explained. "Remember to use your knowledge very wisely and do good with it."

"What if something happens that I don't know," Allie asked.

"You will think of it as a learning experience," the man stated.

Allie woke up and knew exactly what need to be done that today. She hurriedly got ready for school and went downstairs. She greeted her mother, father and older brother with a smile on her face.

At school she knew when her teacher would take them down to the library, she knew what book she was going to get and everything.

But instead of getting the book she was supposed to get, she checked out three chapter books.

When it came time for silent 읽기 in class, Allie read one of the chapter 책 from begining to end.

"Now class I want 당신 to write a paragraph on what 당신 read," the teacher said as she stood in front of the class. "Who here remembers the number of sentences that is in a usual paragraph?"

Allie raised her hand and waited to be called on.

"Allie," the teacher said, pointing at her.

Allie stood up and said, "A paragraph has four to five sentences in it, Ms. Blough."

"That's correct, Allie," Ms. Blough stated. "Thank you."

Allie sat down, then set to work 글쓰기 about what she read, but instead of one paragraph, she wrote two.

When Ms. Blough came to collect the class' papers, she looked at Allie's and said, "I am very impressed, 당신 went above and beyond what I asked."

Allie just smiled with pride.

This is going to be fun, Allie thought to herself.

To burned bridges with family, 프렌즈 and loved ones

From the chilly blue ocean, days spent at the golden beach,
And time spent hiding from the world

From days spent with despair and wishes for death
To days with unending laughter and forced smiles

The hopes of tomorrow being destroyed
And memories that become tarnished

From helping raise four younger siblings
And growing up too fast
To begging my friend not to die

From my tears, joy, and fears
To finding the Father who always loved me

From being too terrified...

As I gasp for breath while I drown the pain in morphine
While my 심장 beats in tune with the rolling static hills on the metal screen
I lay on my deathbed reflecting on my life
I can say I had a good one although it was filled to the brim with tidal waves of hurt
I laughed in delight while running through the golden fields embracing the open skies and wearing a halo of warm sunshine
I climbed trees and swam in the salty 에메랄드 sea
But Moma was always working hard at the 식당 filling out orders for sugary milkshakes and greasy fries
And brother Tim was always out too late fixing old radios who sang...
