Do 당신 think that writers should be avid readers?

Not neccessarily, I think it depends on the person.

That's how I became a writer:
Studying my 가장 좋아하는 authors' works and meshing their 글쓰기 styles together to create my own. Not everyone works that way, though.

They don't HAVE to be. If 읽기 helps 당신 come up with techniques 또는 ideas, then sure. But some get techniques and ideas from their own mind.

It depends on the person. But I think it helps learn new words and better grammer. It also inspires ideas if your careful not to steal. But no, they don't have to be.

I think it helps. I personally am an avid reader and I think it helps with my writing. But I don't think in order to be a writer 당신 must be a reader.

In general it depends on the person but sometimes they are interchangeable. personally i was a bigger writer than reader for a long time in a matter fact it wasn't till the last 년 and a half 또는 so that i actually began 읽기 committedly i've read 더 많이 than ever believed possible for me i read Dracula, the invisible man, the legend of sleepy hollow, A series of unfortunate events the austere academy and 셔터 island in the last 3 months. That may not sound big to a lot of 당신 but it was huge for me. Ordinarily something thick like Dracula would take me a 월 but it took me just a few weeks.
읽기 does help at times and is great to help 당신 look at other 글쓰기 styles. and can give 당신 inspiration as well i got an idea from the invisible man that i thought was a good idea

Yes, I think it's necessary. I haven't met 또는 even heard of a writer that doesn't read anyway.
