In the movies it's a little weird, but I completely approve of them in the comics and cartoons. They always had a special bond between and they could understand each other due to their troubled past. They're very close friends (and not really father-daughter imo that relationship belonged to Logan and Jubilee).

To all you naysayers about this couple because of age difference- Rogue is actually in her 20s/30s in the comics. And honestly if Logan should only date people of his age he wouldn't be with Storm or Jean either. Tbh his options are limited based on age premise.
