#80: Corpse Party: Tortured Souls

Now, there was a game known as Corpse Party that was made back in 1998- 의해 god, it’s that old. Anyway, there was then an 아니메 based off of the game… Fifteen years after the game was made. But, other than that, the 아니메 was good. For an 아니메 that only has four episodes, it was actually kinda good. The series was about a group of kids who accidently make a mistake with a paper doll, and are then sent to a cursed elementary school. Here, they have to try and figure out what is going on, while a psychotic ghost girl picks them off one 의해 one. Now, if there is anything 일본 does great, it’s horror. There’s no doubt about it. And Corpse Party: Tortured Souls really shows how well the horror is. Maybe it’s the violence, maybe it’s the designs of the ghost, maybe it’s Yuka always complaining about having to go to the bathroom, but, whatever it is, this 아니메 is easily one of the scariest I’ve seen. It’s only this low because, well, only four episodes were made. A real shame too, as I would at least want a 초 series.

#79: The Boondocks

당신 know a show is awesome when 당신 actually sneak out of your bedroom while your parents are sleeping, and walk into the living room just to watch this show… and Toonami, but this show comes first. This series is based off of Aaron McGruder’s comic strip series and it’s 애니메이션 is based on anime. It is NOT anime, just inspired 의해 it. The show is about an elderly man named Robert Freeman, an old man who loves young women and swings a 벨트 at the speed of sound, who is trying to enjoy his elderly years, but finds that hard when his two grandsons, Huey, who is a very intelligent boy, but always has his theories on the government, and Riley, a young gangster wannabe who causes lots of trouble for the family. This series has a very amazing art style, and, damn, do I 사랑 the fight scenes. I don’t know if I should be in awe, due to how well animated they are, 또는 laugh, do to how they are started. Sure, this show spouts out the N word 더 많이 than a racist during the Civil Rights Movement, but that isn’t gonna keep me from enjoying this show.

#78: Afro Samurai

This here is Japan’s Boondocks. The story follows a man named Afro, who is trying to hunt down the Number 1 samurai named Justice, who killed his father when he was a boy, and along the way, he fights all sorts of agents, assassins, robots, and even a childhood friend who wears a 곰 mask. And, before I tell 당신 about how violent this is. Let me point out some things. This is from Japan… and it is about samurais…. Put the pieces together… and 당신 get a pretty violent anime. I’m not kidding, this stuff gets pretty brutal. It’s just so over-the-top, that I just 사랑 watching it. It’s insane. Oh, and 당신 gotta 사랑 the episode where Afro cuts down 100 fighters. Are 당신 kidding me? Yes, he actually does this, and it’s eve awesomer than it sounds. All I can say is thank god that 일본 finally made an 아니메 where a black person isn’t seen as a criminal.

#77: Dexter’s Laboratory

Oh man, the nostalgia. Now, the idea of the show is simple. Dexter, a super intelligent boy, who has a lab that he keeps secret from his parents, is always trying to create some new invention, and his annoying sister, Dede, always comes to ruin it. The show was very simple. 덱스터 makes an invention. Dede screws it up. Conflict occurs. Conflict resolved. So, why did this not get old. Well, it’s probably because this was such a new and ingenious idea at the time. Every single kid in my school at the time watched this show, and they all said how they couldn’t get enough of it. And I can see why. This was not something that was done before, so it’s no wonder kids loved it so much. So, why is it this low on the list. Well, 덱스터 eventually got the Spongebob syndrome, where he got bad. The 애니메이션 got worse, and the episodes weren’t as memorable. However, the show knew when to go, unlike Spongebob, and all I can say is at least it was good while it lasted.

#76: K-On

Now, for someone who hasn’t watched the show, if I were to tell 당신 that this was a show about a group of high school girls who 가입하기 a 음악 club and play music, 당신 would probably say that is the stupidest idea ever. Well, actually, it’s kinda good. Sure, there really isn’t much of a story, but, it’s just a show that shows 당신 the small things in life, and what to enjoy about them. That is basically what I see when I watch this show. A group of young musicians that just try to enjoy their lives and friendship. It’s like Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi… only it DOESN’T suck a great big pile of fecal matter. And the 음악 videos. God, do I 사랑 these. They show us some of the best made songs I have ever heard, and the visuals really help make it look like it is actually a professional 음악 video. All I can say is, just like Another, K-On is an underrated 아니메 that needs 더 많이 praise.

#75: American Dragon: Jake Long

Alright, the first 디즈니 show that wasn’t aimed at little kids. Now, American Dragon: Jake Long took place in Manhattan, and was about a boy named… Well, Jake Long, who had the ability to turn into a dragon, and had to train under the supervision of his elderly grandfather, Lao Shi, and his pet dog, Fu Dog. Also, the dog is voiced 의해 John DiMaggio. Once his name is on the credits, that makes the show an instant success. The show had a very amazing idea, where there was another world of mythical creatures that Jake had to protect, and, god, I have not seen anything like it… Okay, The Life and Times of Juniper Lee was a show I saw first but…. I thought it kinda sucked. Sure, the 초 season of Jake Long had different animation, but the story was still amazing, and all I can say is, they could draw pictures with Crayola and call that their animation, as long as it has the amazing story, I’ll still watch it.

#74: Panty and 긴 양말, 스타킹 with Garterbelt

Hey, 당신 want to watch an 아니메 that is animated in the style of American 만화 and is filled with lots of sex jokes? No? Well too bad, because that’s Panty and 긴 양말, 스타킹 for you. The show follows the Anarchy Sisters, Panty and Stocking, who were kicked out of heaven for their bad behavior and, with the help of the priest Garterbelt, they must fight ghosts in Daten City to be allowed back into heaven. Now, sure, the sex jokes get kinda old, but the 애니메이션 is just stunning. I really 사랑 this animation. It’s just something I’ve never seen before. Now, what’s really interesting is how they created the show. The creators actually got drunk, and watched adult shows like Drawn Together and Dick Figures. I am not even kidding. They watched Drawn Together, one of the worst and most unsuccesful 만화 of all time, and Dick Figures… Well, a friend of mine showed me it once, and I was like “It was okay”. But, back to the show. There is also the series antagonists, sorta. The Demon Sisters, Scanty and Kneesocks. I just 사랑 how these two are always going on about rules and order, like some sort of dictatorship. And, did I already mention the awesome animation… Because it is beyond awesome. Panty and 긴 양말, 스타킹 is an 아니메 you’re either gonna 사랑 또는 hate. Me, personality. I REALLY 사랑 it.

#73: The Critic

Now, when 당신 have a show that has some of the writers from The Simpsons working on it, 당신 know that this show has quite a lot of potential. The show is about a 36-year-old fat bald movie critic named 어치, 제이 Prescott Sherman, who basically reviews a bunch of 영화 that are parodies of 인기 영화 in reality. And, let me tell you, these five 초 movie parodies actually manage to be funnier than any of the 시간 and a half movie parodies that Jason Friedberg makes. The creators tried to make 어치, 제이 the anti-homer, basically making him the opposite of what Homer Simpson was, and it kinda works. The show was always able to be both heartwarming and funny. It also knew how to take some risks without going too far so everyone could enjoy it. 당신 can easily see some of the Simpson writer’s 글쓰기 in this series, and I 사랑 it. Sure, this series may not be that popular, especially with shows like The Simpsons, South Park and Family Gu- … THAT one, it is still one of my 가장 좋아하는 adult shows.

#72: Trigun

Now, this is an 아니메 that I only recently got into, so there isn’t a whole lot I can say. But, god, I wish I watched this show MUCH sooner. The 아니메 is about a man named Vash the Stampede a kindhearted marksman that tries to spread peace and love… a bit ironic, if 당신 ask me. Anyway, he has to try to survive on the planet Gunsmoke, due to the sixty billion dollar bounty he has put on him. However, he has no idea, other than he is blamed for the destruction of a city called July, and he tries to remember what happened as the series goes on. I have to say, this 아니메 is just stunning. Sure, Vash’s hair style looks like he just went down a drop tower at an amusement park, but the style is just beautiful. Now, again, I haven’t seen much of the show, so I don’t have a lot to say, I’m afraid. Just know that this 아니메 is very awesome, and I REALLY need to watch 더 많이 of it

#71: Pokemon

Now, I know that people are starting to see that Pokemon wasn’t all that great of a show, and that it was just a way to make kids buy the toys. But, 당신 need to remember that I put The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog AND The Super Mario Bros Super Show on this list, so I am already known for having unpopular opinions. Now, this was the show that introduced me to anime. When I saw Pokemon for the first time, I was amazed 의해 the animation. I hadn’t seen anything like it. I loved the world of Pokemon, where a bunch of kids trapped small creatures in balls… and made them fight each other in… painful looking ways… Man, and I thought Yu-Gi-Oh was hardcore, but, man, looks like I was treating Pokemon a bit too childishly. Still, the series is just so nostalgic for me. I never played a Pokemon game when I was a kid, so this was the only way I could understand what it was about. I also had some Pokemon plushies, and I actually duct taped one of them to my shoulder. Yes, I loved the show that much. I looked like an idiot, trust me. Sure, the 아니메 may not be as good as some people remember, but I’ll always 사랑 this show for the large amounts of nostalgia it gives me.

For the entirety of October, I will be doing CoH articles. One Tuesday will be a review, than a 상단, 맨 위로 ten, and so on until Halloween. And since I did a review on Dead Space, now is the best time to talk about a 상단, 맨 위로 ten. And when it comes to 상단, 맨 위로 tens, none are 더 많이 done than the scariest enemies in video games. And while enemies are good and scary on their own, I want to look at bosses… Which isn’t much better, I know, but screw it. There are many disturbing bosses in games, especially in horror games. But what about those that come when 당신 least expect it from a horror game. One’s that...

I said it before and I’ll say it again, I 사랑 No 더 많이 Heroes, from the characters, to the combat, to the overworld. And one of the things that makes this game what it is are the bosses in it. The 10 Ranked assassins of the United Assassins Association are some of the craziest and most thought provoking bosses I have seen in video games. Sure, they may not be as insane to fight 또는 as insanely well detailed and designed like a Bayonetta 또는 Devil May Cry boss, but how they behave, what they have to say, and what they do make them all the 더 많이 interesting. How they fight, what tricks they pull,...

There are dozens of ways a game can come to an end. They can make their ending tie together the loose ends and bring the story to a satisfying close, they can leave a person on a cliffhanger for the 다음 installment, 또는 they can completely fail all together. And then 당신 get THOSE endings. Those endings that come out of nowhere and are seen as completely weird. Whether it’s due to awkward movement and voice acting, a single scene making the whole ending change entirely, 또는 just 일본 being Japan, these endings are seen as being so weird, that they can be charming in their own way… 또는 be...

So I just got done watching a pretty darn 인기 아니메 named "The Familiar Of Zero". (Well, it was only season one, but yeah. It had an ending and all that, so I'm not really cheating here.)

And this anime....... I 사랑 it. Honestly. From the 초 I started episode one I knew this was going to be awesome, and it mostly was! BUT I do have a few complaints with it.........

And 의해 a "Few" I mean A GODDAMN TRILLION.

Welcome to my new series 랜덤 Rants! Where I nitpick the mother-living hell out of whatever I so damn desire. Sound good to you? IT FUCKING BETTER.

So although I really do think The...

When it comes to horror anime, they seem to be some of the 더 많이 mature 아니메 out there. As much flak horror gets in general for just being a disgusting and barbaric genre, seen as only catering to violent psychopaths, horror anime, at least the ones that I have seen, seem to handle their horror maturely. From the psychological break-down of our protagonist in Parasyte, to the symbolism and philosophy of Monster. Even Highschool of the Dead can come up with some relatable characters... 당신 know, when they aren't having jiggle physics. And with 일본 treating their audience 더 많이 maturely, it's...

Alright, so for the past few days, the video games that I’ve talked about were pretty tame. Not bad, just not the sort of thing you’d expect. When 당신 read my articles, 당신 expect constant nightmares coming right at your face, disturbing imagery, haunting monsters, and just in general something that would drive a person crazy with fear. Not depressing stuff or… whatever the hell Condemned’s story was trying to tell. And don’t get me started on the 12 Days of Christmassacre. I liked those reviews, but I think I’d like to talk about something that is a true nightmare, in a good way....

Now, what are games made for? Entertainment. And if a game is not entertaining, then there is no point for the game to EVER exist. However, some game developers do not know this, and instead make their games as boring as possible. So, today, I am going to talk about the games that bore me the most. Now, these are only going to be games that I have played, so no Desert Bus. Now, with that said, lets start the list
