How can anyone become a fan of any ship before they start watching it?!? :-O

^I'd heard of the pairing before I began watching the series, as it was being compared to a ship I liked from another fandom. That, and the comparison of the canon brotherly relationships too, was one of the main reasons I decided to give Supernatural a go.

I've also heard of people getting into pairing from fan fiction, fan videos, blogs etc, before actually trying out the fandom itself.
