2016's 배트맨 v Superman: Dawn of Justice was a film that was a huge deal for the history of both 제목 characters. Although 배트맨 and 슈퍼맨 had met in several comics and cartoons, 배트맨 vs. 슈퍼맨 was their first encounter in a theatrical film. 배트맨 and 슈퍼맨 are two of the most iconic 히어로즈 in all of fiction, so the film was hyped up as one of the biggest films in superhero history. Did the film live up to the expectations of fans? It's complicated. The film was poorly received 의해 critics. As for fans, they were very divided on it. Some 팬 thought it was one of the best superhero films of all time, while other 팬 thought it was one of the absolute worst.

During the time when 배트맨 vs. 슈퍼맨 was coming out, I had stopped watching superhero films for years. My interest in them had disappeared around 2010. However, my curiosity for 배트맨 vs. 슈퍼맨 was so high that it sucked me back into the world of superhero films. The film helped rekindle my 사랑 of superhero films. After I first saw it, I was eager to watch it over and over again. I saw the film so many times.

I can never deny that 배트맨 vs. 슈퍼맨 is a very important part of my history with superheroes. Because of that, the film has my gratitude. Does that mean that I think that the film is amazing? It's complicated.

Due to how important 배트맨 and 슈퍼맨 are to my childhood and to my adult life, it's been very hard for me to look at the film without becoming a fanboy that gives the film a complete pass.

Zack Snyder is one of the greatest directors when it comes to action scenes. In fact, I could rewatch Zack Snyder's amazing visuals dozens of times. 배트맨 and Superman's fight scenes are some of the most impressive fight scenes in the history of action films. Jesse Eisenberg's performance as Lex Luthor was very divisive, but I 사랑 it. In a film that's so dark, Lex adds some much-needed comedy to the film. The Jolly Ranchers scene is one of the funniest things to ever occur in an otherwise serious film.

배트맨 vs. 슈퍼맨 was the first theatrical film to give credit to Bill Finger. Bill Finger's loved ones had been trying to get his name in a theatrical 배트맨 film since 1989, so the fact that Bill's name was finally on a theatrical film was a huge deal. Ever since then, Bill's name has been in every theatrical 배트맨 release.

Now that I've given out some compliments, I have to describe the problems with the film:

For those that don't know, in Batman's earliest comic appearances, he carried around a gun and would use violent methods to defeat his enemies. However, 배트맨 creator Bill Finger quickly realized that 배트맨 needed to be 더 많이 morally responsible, so he could become a role-model for the kids that read the stories. Ever since then, one of the key aspects of Batman's character is that he refuses to kill any of his enemies. This no-killing rule has also applied to Superman. With Superman, there have been some expectations, such as Brainiac (who is a computerized, non-human being) and Doomsday (who is a mindless, hulking beast), but like Batman, 슈퍼맨 would never kill a human.

배트맨 vs. 슈퍼맨 is a film where both 제목 히어로즈 are responsible for the deaths of several people.

In Superman's case, a bunch of innocent people end up dying from the large number of buildings that are blown to bits from Superman's battle with General Zod that occurred from 2013's Man of Steel film. Zod was trying to get rid all of humanity, so he could replace Earth with a rebuilt version of Krypton. 의해 defeating Zod, 슈퍼맨 technically saved a countless number of lives. However, the fact that 슈퍼맨 battled Zod in the middle of the city, rather than in an empty area, led to several civilians losing their lives. Technically speaking, 슈퍼맨 didn't directly kill anyone, other than Zod, but the property damage that he caused still led to so many lives being lost.

이전 versions of 슈퍼맨 are known for standing for truth and justice. This version of 슈퍼맨 has dialogue like:
"Nobody stays good in this world."
"I'm taking 당신 and I'm breaking you, which is 더 많이 than 당신 deserve."
In other words, this version of 슈퍼맨 isn't as inspiring and uplifting as the character normally is. Henry Cavill's a great actor, but the way that Superman's acts in the film is very awkward and questionable. Superman's known for being such a strong role-model, but in this film, 슈퍼맨 spends several scenes moping around.

In Batman's case, 배트맨 acts like a villain. An example of that is that 배트맨 and the film's villain, Lex Luthor, have the same motivation. In the film, Lex Luthor is a rich man that wants to get rid of Superman, because he thinks that letting someone as powerful as him live is too risky. In the film, 배트맨 is also a rich man that wants to get rid of Superman, because he fears what 슈퍼맨 could do with his massive amount of power.

In the film, 배트맨 kills a bunch of Lex Luthor's henchmen, so he can steal Kryptonite from Lex Luthor and then use the Kryptonite to kill Superman. That last sentence shows how messed up 배트맨 is in this film. 배트맨 KILLS a group of men, so he can STEAL something that he can use to KILL Superman. This really goes against who 배트맨 is supposed to be. I can't imagine Bill Finger ever approving of a story that turns his most iconic character into a murderous anti-hero that tries to kill a fellow anti-hero.

As the film goes along, 배트맨 and 슈퍼맨 eventually have a big fight. The fight scene is amazingly directed 의해 Zack Snyder, but it builds up to one of the most confusing scenes in superhero history. 배트맨 is about to stab 슈퍼맨 with a Kryptonite spear, but after learning that Superman's mom has the same first name as his mom, 배트맨 suddenly realizes that he's gone too far. While it's good that 배트맨 finally comes to his senses, it feels so abrupt. 배트맨 learns that Superman's mom, Martha Kent, has been kidnapped, so he decides to save her. While that makes sense, what doesn't make sense is that 배트맨 stops hating 슈퍼맨 and starts referring to him as his friend. Earlier in the film, 배트맨 was ready to stab 슈퍼맨 with a Kryptonite spear, but out of nowhere, 배트맨 trusts and respects Superman? I don't get it. Also, when Batman's saving Martha, he causes a guy with a flamethrower to burn to death. That's pretty cruel and out of character for Batman.

After all the criticisms that I launched out at 배트맨 vs. Superman, 당신 might think that I hate the film. Do I? Well, it's complicated. Like I've mentioned, the film is a guilty pleasure. Because of the incredible visuals and the film's several interesting ideas and entertaining moments, it's hard for me to not get enjoyment out of the film. However, when it comes to representing 배트맨 and Superman's inspiring morality, the film falls flat. As an action film, it's a fantastic spectacle. As a story about heroism, it's very flawed. The film turns two of the most inspirational 히어로즈 in fiction into very flawed anti-heroes. Because of all the film's strengths and weaknesses, I have very complicated feelings on the film.

If 당신 have seen the film, how do 당신 feel about it? Feel free to mention your thoughts in the comments.

Two years ago, it was announced that one of my 가장 좋아하는 directors, Tim Burton, would be making a show about my 가장 좋아하는 character from The Addams Family, Wednesday. As soon as I heard about it, I was excited for it. I felt like I couldn't wait for it. Waiting for it hasn't been easy, but after two years of anticipation, the show has finally come out.

Wednesday focuses on a teenaged Wednesday Addams. She has been kicked out of various schools for her troublesome behavior. She has been sent to Nevermore Academy, the school that Wednesday's parents went to when they were her age. Nevermore Academy...

This 기사 is for letting 당신 know what has been going on for me in recent years. It's also about expressing gratitude to all of my 프렌즈 on here.

First off, I'd like to thank you, my friends, for supporting me and being there for me. Before joining this site, I wasn't very interested in friendship. However, meeting 당신 and learning how much joy can be gained from friendship made me start to appreciate the magic of friendship. Over the years, I don't always word myself in the most eloquent of ways. I often make mistakes. It means so much to me that 당신 accept me for who I am. Your encouragement...

Black Adam is a DC Comics film that is the 11th film in the DC Extended Universe. The film stars Dwayne Johnson as the 제목 character.

Black Adam is a character that was known for being one of the main enemies of Shazam in the comics. Although he was portrayed as a villain in his earliest appearances, Black Adam later gained somewhat of a reputation as an anti-hero in later years. Instead of having Black Adam show up as the villain of the Shazam film, Black Adam was given his own film.

In the film, Black Adam was a powerful person that lived in Kahndaq thousands of years ago. Kahndaq has been...

배트맨 might like to work alone, but he has lots of sidekicks and 프렌즈 that he can rely on when he really needs it. For this article, I'm going to attempt to see how many of Batman's allies I can name without looking up any names.

A rule I have for this list is that members of the Justice League will not be included. Instead, I'll be focusing on characters that are known for their roles in the 배트맨 franchise.

1. Alfred Pennyworth

2. Commissioner Jim Gordon

3. Dick Grayson (the original Robin who eventually became Nightwing)

4. Jason Todd (the 초 Robin who eventually became Red Hood)...

When it comes to Batman, I'm a bit obsessed. I know lots of 랜덤 things about 배트맨 that don't really matter to most people, but they matter to me. I think that 배트맨 has one of the greatest collection of villains of all time. In addition to all of the iconic rogues that everybody knows, there are several underrated rogues. In this article, I challenge my knowledge of 배트맨 의해 seeing how many 배트맨 villains I can list off without looking up any names. If the number turns out to be high, that means I know 배트맨 well. It also means that I'm an obsessive fan, but that's a different story....

배트맨 is known for being one of the greatest detectives of all time. However, 배트맨 is very human. We all have moments where we don't word ourselves in the most eloquent of ways. He's had moments where he's said very weird things. This is a look at some of the weirdest phrases to ever come out of Batman's mouth. For this article, I'm focusing on things that 배트맨 said in the comics.

From a scene in The Dark Knight Returns where Batman's beating up the leader of a group of mutants: "This isn't a mud hole. It's an operating table. And I'm the surgeon."

From a scene in Batman: Fortunate Son...
