is the killer 고래 really a whale?

okay. i heard that dolphins are actually small whales. so i think killer whales(orcas) and dolphins belong to the same family.

Dolphins and whales are in the same family so I guess 당신 could say they are. However they're 더 많이 closely related to dolphins and porpoises than actual whales. Same with belugas.

well dolphins are a type of 고래 but whales have lots of different categories. dolphins are in the category of porpoises so yeah orca's are dolphins in a way i guess!!

No, the Killer Whale/Orca is actually a dolphin. If they were whales, they would have baleen. Some whales do have teeth, but all of them have baleen. Orcas don't.
