“Because I woke up,” She wailed, wrapping her arms around my neck, getting closer to me. I felt her uneven gasps on my throat. It was out of logic, what she was saying. “Everything’s all right, Bella. Take deep breaths.” I tried to calm her down. But then she gasped again and I felt a trembling of her voice:
“It was so real,” She cried. “I wanted it to be real.”
“Tell me about it,” I urged. What was that dream about that was making my precious Bella so unhappy? “Maybe that will help.”
