“She’ll come round when she’s ready Ben” I heard the familiar voice of Doctor Cullen 의해 my side. What was Ben doing here? Wasn’t he the injured one? I saw a white light and screamed. I wasn’t ment to be dead was I? “Heidi, calm down your not dead.” I shot up straight, feeling the rush go to my head, making me feel dizzy. Why was I in a hospital bed? “Heidi your ok.” Dr.Cullen assured me. “Where’s mum?” I asked laying back down bracing myself for the worst. “She didn’t quite come through like 당신 did. She not dead Heidi, we had to put her in a coma, things are very touch and go right now.” My Mum was a strong woman. She would be ok, she would pull through. I hoped. “Heidi, 당신 have to be feeling tired. I’ll leave 당신 so 당신 can sleep. Are 당신 coming Ben?” Doctor Cullen said. Now that he mentioned it I was feeling exhausted. “No I’ll stay.” Ben said taking up a chair as I fell asleep.
It was dark, that was good, and Ben was asleep, another good thing, my plan could be put into action. My life couldn’t get any worse so this couldn’t be a bad idea. There were no rails on the side of the 침대 and it wasn’t squeaky so my escape could be quick. I was in ugly hospital robes so I would have to be fast and nip 집 first. The house was shabby and cold. I shivered as I stepped through the front door and up the stairs, dressing quickly into a long sleeved shirt, a high neck jumper and trousers. In a bag I threw my savings, two spare pairs of clothes, 음식 and water. This was the very place that had ruined my life recently. I was hopefully running away from the bad to the good. I was saying goodbye to my hometown before I knew it. And heading off somewhere else in this massive world.
I must have been travelling for over 2 months and I had run out of everything. There had been a 검색 party for me and soon later I found out that my mother had died in her coma. I only knew I was somewhere east of Spain, wondering through a forest. I stopped eyes fixed on the dead human body on the ground in front of me. An over powering force knocked me backwards into a tree, surely braking my spine, but the pain of that was nothing compared to 불, 화재 spreading inside me.
