Even though they did not know it, Bella was listening to everything they were saying, and she wasn't liking what she was hearing.
"I'm telling you! She should just act normal!" She heard one of them say.
"No! It's to dangerous!" Another one said, Edward she assumed. Then, growing bored from the ongoing 토론 she realized that this was her chance, everyone was to preoccupied with trying to decide what she should do, she just slipped behind the house and went through the back door. Only Spike saw her. After she had been gone for about five minuets, he decided to clue the rest of them in.
"Hahaha." Spike laughed. "Some 뱀파이어 당신 are, 당신 can't even keep track of a little girl." Spike taunted. Before 당신 could blink, Edward had him against a 나무, 트리 and was about tear his head off, when Carlisle pulled Edward off of Spike.

Inside the house, Bella was looking for her dad.
"Dad? Are in here?" She barley finished with the 질문 before she heard a creak in the floor behind her.

"Of course." That's when they heard a scream from inside the house.
"Where's Bella?!" Edward and Jacob both screamed.
"I don't know! I can't see ANYTHING with them here!" Alice said. 의해 that point Edward, Emmett, Jacob, and Seth had busted through the door to see Charlie on the floor groaning and scratching at his eyes and Bella was in the corner crying.

"Looks like she's the one who did all the hurting here, Edward." Emmett laughed as he kicked a can of pepper spray.
"Seth, get Charlie and take him outside with the others." Jacob said.
"Yea Emmett 당신 go with him and tell the others what happened." Edward suggested. After the two had left, Edward looked at Jacob and said, "Maybe 당신 should go with them, to make sure that Emmett doesn't blow things out of proportion."
"Sure sure." Was all that Jacob said as he ducked out of the house.
"What happened Bella?" Edward gently asked.
"He c-came up b-behind m-me, so I s-sprayed him with the p-p-pepper s-spray." Bella choked out in between tears.
"Shh Bella, its okay. Shh, everything is alright." Edward comforted.
"N-no its n-not." She managed to choke out. At that time Jasper and Seth peeked their heads around the corner. Jasper spoke first.
"Edward, Carlisle is wanting to 질문 Charlie and the others. Do 당신 want to be apart of it?" Jasper asked looking at Edward and then at Bella. Then Seth spoke up: "I can stay with Bella if 당신 want to go."
"Thank 당신 Seth." Edward thanked. Then Seth went over and sat beside Bella, and Edward got up and walked out the door.
