I would like to start this chapter off with yet, another apology. I havn't been 글쓰기 for a while, at a writers block. So i went back and read the twilight seris once more. I now have new, exciting ideas. And since 당신 have responded to the different point of views i will Definintly keep that in mind when 글쓰기 more! (: I hope 당신 enjoy this chapter! CHAPTER 14: To save a life.
Renesmee's POV (point of view)
(CONTINUATION OF WHERE RENESMEE'S (POV) LEFT OFF IN CHAPTER 13)

I decided to call Jacob, I should probaly check up on him. I picked up the phone and dialed his number. It rang a couple times before someone picked up.

"Hello?" I heard the man say, I didn't reconize the voice.

"Who is this?" I asked, confused.

"Its seth" His voice was slightly shaky

"Whats.. Whats wrong, where is Jacob?"

"Jacob, He's hurt real bad."
I felt my 심장 drop. No, i whispered lightly. Not Jacob. He couldn't just- "Bring me to him"

"We'll meet 당신 outside of town.." he gave me directions, then hung up the phone. I quickly grabbed my coat, wallet and headed out the door. I Waited impatiently at the elevator, after a moment i changed directions and took the stairs. I quickly made my way through the lobby, but was stopped.

"Ms. Cullen? Is everything alright?" I heard the Manager ask, suspicously.

"Of course," I said as calm as i could "You saw that girl who came in?" He nodded "My aunt, She asked me to meet her," I looked at my watch dramaticly "And i must hurry! Her plane leaves so soon and she asked me to help her with some shopping!"

The manager agreed with my story and let me on my way. Im glad he bought it so easily. I left the hotel and waved down a taxi. I couldn't stop thinking about Jacob, If he was hurt and how badly. I felt a wave of pain crash over me; but i had a role to play now, being a cullen i was quite used to that. I quickly got into the Yellow cab and gave him the directions,

"Why is a young pretty girl, such as you, going to the middle of nowhere late at night?"

The man had a gruff voice and was bald, except for the sides of his hair. He had brown hair and was quite short and stubby;

"Oh, i have .. family. They live out of town so i always meet them around there. They pick me up"

"Hey wait! Aren't 당신 that Renesmee Cullen girl? Your father owns the hotels?"

I nodded, I hope that wouldn't effect anything.

"Wow, first 별, 스타 i've had in my Cab.."

"Sir, i wouldn't really consider myself a-"

"Modest as well! Wow! your the whole package!"

If i hadn't been so stresseed out, i would have been majorly annoyed. I looked away.We arrived at my destination. I rummaged through my wallet, and threw him a couple hundred. "Thanks!" I called, leaving the Cab.

He flipped through the bills "Hey! No problem! Thanks!"

He drove off, I heard his tires sqeal against the pavment. I steped carefully into the darkness,

"Seth?" i called.

Just then i felt somebody grab me, i tried to kick my way free but it was usless. I felt my 심장 axelerate, and my breaths quicken. He quickly threw me into a car, that's when i heard the voice;

"My, my, tricked quite easily, aren't you?"

There wasn't a long period between being taken and being brought to wherever i was going. He slid the doors open and grabbed me 의해 the upper arm. I was pulled towards an opening. I slid carefuly between each 나무, 트리 of the dark forest.I stopped moving, There i saw Jacob, lifeless, being held up 의해 two of Alex's pack.

"He was quite easy to fool as well, although 더 많이 of a fight" I heard alex say, He turned to me "Much like you..."

I didn't know wether it was my instincs 또는 Jacob, but this time i would defend myself. I needed to create a diversion.. I wasn't strong, but i could at least make them think i was venomus. I needed the right moment, i needed Jacob to awake. I broke free of alex's hold and ran for Jacob. I put my hands on either side of his face;

"Come on Jake, wake up! Please"

His eyes slowly flashed open "N-Nessie?"

Suddenly i was pulled backwards, I was thrown onto the ground. I stood up,

"Renesmee!" I heard my mother call from across the field, the cullens were here. But alex wasn't going to give up.He grabbed me once more, I turned around and broke free of his hold. I then bit him.

He screamed out in pain, although since im not venomus i couldn't do much damadge, but i could do enough for a distraction. The other 늑대 had dropped Jacob now, and the Cullens were fighting the wolfes.

"Renesmee, go to Jacob" I heard my father yell. I immedietly got up, i ran across the field towards him. I sat down beside were his limp body laid;

"Jake?"

"Renesmee.. I'm so sorry i-" He winced in pain

I cut him off,"No, don't, just don't. Please Jake"

He nodded "Renesmee, Get out of here"

I grabbed his hand "No, I'm not leaving you. It's fine, My family is here and sam, Seth and Embry are covering the forests"

I looked back at the fight, happening just yards away. I saw Rosalie throw one two the ground while her and emmette tore it apart.

"..I have to go help" I heard Jacob say weakly

"No! 당신 can't phase, not with the shape your in. You'd just kill yourself!"

"But Ne-"

"Please Jacob, just stay put, please. Thier fine."

I looked back once more, in time enough to see my father and carlisle knock down Alex. I looked away though, as much as i resented Alex i still found it.. Hard to watch. I put my head on Jacob, sobbing lightly.

"It's alright, " He soothed, whispering "It's over. They can't hurt 당신 now Nessie"

I saw Carlisle quickly make his way over here, as well as some of the wolfes. I Moved out of the way, letting Carlisle examine Jacob's injuries. I looked to my left where the fight had tooken place just moments earlier. The yells and grunts of the fight were now silent. I heard Jacobs moans of pain coming from beside me. My mother had ran over to me;

"Renesmee?"

I nodded slowly, without taking my gaze off
Jacob.

"Your going to go back with Jacob and seth, we have to stay behind. there aren't many more, but they surely won't make it to forks.. You'll be fine on your own for a 일 또는 so, right?"

I once again nodded, "Be careful" i said meekly. My mother held me,

"He's going to be alright" she said soothingly "Don't worry"

I turned around to meet her gaze, but her and my father had already gone to look for the wolves. Along with esme, rosalie, alice, jasper, emmette and carlisle. Sam, Seth and Embry helped Jacob into the car, then left Seth there with us to drive.

Carlisle had given him morphine, enough to last most of the ride 집 but not all of it.
I was happy that Jacob was asleep now, he wasn't in pain. I sat in the back with him, his head rested on my lap.

I remembered when that was me, i now realised how worried Jacob was. Although i was glad he was asleep and protected from the pain, i wanted him to wake-up, i wanted to know he was okay. I looked solemly to the right,

"He's strong" I heard seth say, convicing himself as well as me.

"I know.." . I ran my hands carefully throuugh Jacobs hair "I just hope he heals enough before he wakes up.."

"He's had worse" Seth said, in attempt to make me feel better. I didn't like to pry, Although i was curious now.

"What happened?"

"Well did your parents tell 당신 about Victoria?"

"Yes, and the army she sent after my mother, why?"

"Well, we helped fight the newborns, but we had missed one that we saw after the fight. But my stupid sister, Leah, decided to prove that she was stronger then us. She went for the easy kill and was almost hurt.."

"..Until Jacob stepped in the way?"

Seth nodded "Practicly crushed the whole right side of his body.. Not to mention carlisle had to rebreak the 본즈 because they weren't set right and were healing too fast."

I winced and felt a shudder roll up my spine. The last thing i wanted to think about was Jacob being in pain. Although that was the inevitable..I once again watched 분 pass by, waiting to arrive 집 and soon enough i did. It hadn't felt like a 일 had passed by, but then again i wasn't foucusing on anything other then Jake. I went to get out of the car;

"Want me to wake Jacob?" I heard seth ask as i stepped out,

"No, let him rest. I'll be fine" I smiled "Thanks"

"Anytime" He replied, driving off.

I walked into my cozy house and closed the door behind me. I carefiully slipped off my shoes, and walked over to the kitchen. I made myself a small snack of crackers and vegtables.

After nibbling on those, i did my dishes. I went into my room and opened my dresser drawer. I pulled out one of my night gowns and then headed into the washroom. I quickly brushed my teeth and threw my hair up in a ponytail. I dragged my tired body into my bedroom, and flicked on the light.

I found my way around and then turned it off. I carefully tucked myself under the warmth of my blanket and fell asleep, i suddenly felt empty without Jacob 의해 my side.

I yawned as the morning light approched. I wonderd out into the living room "Hello?" I called, yet there was no answer. I assume everyone was still gone. I went into the linen closet and searched through the many items until i came upon a towel. I carefully pulled it out from between the brightly coloured linens and went to take a shower. I got dressed and threw my hair up into a bun.

I Stepped into the 부엌, 주방 and looked for somthing easy to eat, i settled for some toast. I placed the piece into the 빵 굽는 사람, 토스터 and searched for a drink. I pulled out a carton of 주황색, 오렌지 주스 and carefully poured it into a small glass.

I put the 주스 back into the fridge and grabbed a small plate. I heard the *POP of the toaster, I quickly turned; startled 의해 the sound. I pulled it out of the 빵 굽는 사람, 토스터 and placed it on the plate. I sat down infront of the T.V. although i wasn't watching it, it filled the emptyness of the house.
I switched off the 텔레비전 and put my dishes in the sink;

"Ugh" I grunted "Why does everything have to be so complicated"

I looked at the door for a moment, that's when i saw the car keys. I quickly grabbed them and headed out into the driveway. I opened the car door and put the keys into the ignition.The engine of my fathers shiny volvo purred as i drove. I watched tree's pass me, as i drove down the fimiliar road. Following the same yellow line, waiting impatiently to arrive at Jacob's house.
