In my opinion they are the couple with the best chemistry and best story line/character development (and one of the best for emotional development). I don't know if the writers meant to have such a huge BL following when they created this couple... but they really struck gold when they put Brooke & Lucas together. Certain actors are just able to make the characters and relationship come to life, and in the process viewers unexpectedly fall in love with the couple.
