Darkwoods Productions, 원, 동그라미 of Confusion and Valhalla Entertainment are now in production on season five of the hit AMC horror 텔레비전 drama series "The Walking Dead" in Georgia. The show's casting directors in Los Angeles and Atlanta are casting new recurring, guest starring, and 일 player roles. The extras and stand-ins are being cast throughout production on the sixteen episode fifth season. The series is based on the comic book series of the same name 의해 Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard.

Starring in "The Walking Dead" is BAFTA Awards nominee Andrew 링컨 as the show's main protagonist Rick Grimes. Among the many other actors starring in the series is two-time Young Artist Awards nominee Chandler Riggs as Rick's son Carl Grimes; Steven Yeun is Glenn Rhee, the son of Korean immigrants; Norman Reedus plays Southern hunter and expert tracker Daryl Dixon; Melissa McBride plays the fragile character Carol Peletier; Laurie Holden is Maggie Greene; Scott Wilson portrays Hershel Greene; Chad L. Coleman and Sonequa Martin-Green joined the cast in season four playing Tyreese and Sasha respectively.
