Kelsey poked her sister to wake her up. Amber opened her eyes and looked around. They were still in the woods and seemed to have spend the night there. Kelsey pulled her sister up and dragged her with her.
“What’s the rush?” Amber asked surprised 의해 Kelsey’s speed.
“We need to get 당신 somewhere safe” Kelsey said agitated, not slowing down.
“Why? Okay, I know I have to be careful for the sheriff and vampire hunters, but I’m not going to get myself caught” Amber said.
“Trust me, the sheriff’s the least of your worries right now” Kelsey said. She ran even faster. “What do 당신 think is going to happen when the Salvatore Brothers find out about your action last night? If they don’t know already”
Amber braced herself and Kelsey had to stop. “Damon knows…Well, he obviously has no idea who I am, but he saw me. He threw me against a tree. It hurt” Amber said. Kelsey panted. “That’s great, Am. That’s just… great” she sighed. “You should’ve listened when mom and dad told us to stay out of trouble. They were right”
“Well, 당신 didn’t stay out of trouble, but you’re fine now” Amber said. Kelsey looked at her with a sober smile. “I bet they didn’t fill 당신 in on what happened after that car accident?” Amber shook her head. “Don’t feel left out… They didn’t tell me a thing, either… I had to find out the hard way” Kelsey continued, with a 쓴, 쓰라린 undertone. She turned around and walked further. She stopped when Amber raced in front of her. “All I remember is mom and dad were arguing with you. I heard 당신 crying and dad told 당신 to leave and never come back. And that’s the last time 당신 were home” she said. “Is there something else I should know about that night?”
For a moment Kelsey wanted to tell everything to the person she was closest with. But then she shook her head. “You’re not ready for it” she said.

They heard the door close and wondered who came barging in, until a familiar, female and British voice solved the mystery.
“Anyone home?” Rebekah called from downstairs.
“Ugh” Damon sighed. “I’ll go” He stood up and walked to the door, but when he wanted to open it, the door was slammed in his face and Rebekah barged in. She held a guy in her right hand and a blood bag in her left hand.
“What are 당신 doing here?” Elena asked tired.
“I came to apologize” Rebekah explained flighty, while she tossed the bag to Damon. “I was wrong to bite you. It’s just that I busted Stefan smooching with that vamp strumpet and 당신 look like her, so I got carried away. I don’t understand what it is that draws Stefan to women with your appearances. You’re not even that pretty”
“I appreciate your honesty” Elena commented sarcastically.
“Hey, I’m as open as your legs were last night” Rebekah replied blunt and Elena’s cheeks turned red.
“Anyone home?” Rebekah called from downstairs.
“Ugh” Damon sighed. “I’ll go” He stood up and walked to the door, but when he wanted to open it, the door was slammed in his face and Rebekah barged in. She held a guy in her right hand and a blood bag in her left hand.

Rachel stroke her fingers through her hair. “Oh my God. What have I done?” she mumbled agitated. “Think, Rachel, think” She looked around. Then she grabbed Gabe’s feet and dragged him to the farthest corner.
She ran to the stairs and went to the 부엌, 주방 where she searched the drawers for matches. In her panic she forgot she had been living here for about twenty years and the matches lay in the 초 drawer 다음 to the cupboard underneath the sink ever since. She pulled it open and grabbed the matches. Then she opened the fridge and took out a bottle of Malt Whisky. She ran back downstairs to the body. She opened the bottle of Malt and poured its content over the body. Then she stroke a match and let it fall down and watch how Gabe went up into flames.
As she watched him burn a sudden agony fulfilled her body and she dropped the bottle. She fell down on her knees and felt her body contracting and convulsing while she screamed.
She ran to the stairs and went to the 부엌, 주방 where she searched the drawers for matches. The road that led to the open field cracked open and Elena’s feet got stuck in one of the cracks.
“Ha, damn it!” she cursed and she pulled her leg, but she couldn’t 옮기기 it. The crack grew bigger and soon she fell in a whole. A deep one.
She looked up and saw how the crack slowly closed again.
“Elena”
Elena grabbed the 벽 which was raw and cut her hands open, but she didn’t care. With a fierce determination she climbed up and out of the crack. She crawled away from the crack, dodged the other cracks and reached the open field.
