I like how he has become more take action and finds his little happy moments and we are starting to see his sense of humor emerge. I could say Damon but Ive loved him since 1x17. That said, there were these moments around 1x13-1x16 where he showed a little humanity but I did not think that those moments excused him from what he did.Before 1x13 i hated him the most out of all the characters. Up until 1x17, I really just thought he was an evil monster. Then, we got to see him when his baby brother was tortured right in front of him. The look of desperation and lethal-ness on his face. The way that he he had to clear his head and the way his voice came out kind of like a sob while he was talking to Elena. That showed me the depth at which he loved. Katherine was evil so loving her did not equate to being good for me. Damon had to show love for someone who was good and his love for his brother showed me there was good in him. It really was an overnight changed. I went from thinking he was evil to loving him in an one episode.Now, I see him through rose colored glasses. He and Stefan can do no wrong. I have always loved Caroline and Stefan. No change there. posted over a year ago.
