IMO them happening is kinda of OOC for both of them so to happen A LOT has to go down. 2.Well, it took him 145yrs to get over Katherine. So how long do you think it will take him to get over Elena...??And imo he loves Elena more than he did Katherine 3.Nian have nothing to do with the storyline. Nothing. So yeah Nian being together doesn't stop Bamon from happening 4.Chemistry is subjective. 5.We can't tell who's gonna be endgame now..ITS JUST SEASON THREE!!! Things might change.. 6. I think what we mean when we say Bamon doesn't make sense is that...we don't see the connection between them. As friends YES. As lovers? I don't think they understand each other very well and Damon is the kind of person who needs someone to handle him emotionally, someone he feels free to open up to cuz the poor guy is damaged. And I don't think Bonnie is that person. Have you seen all the ladies he's opened up to,Rose, Elena they accepted him the way he is. 7. Damon didn't mean he doesn't care for Bonnie when he said that. I strongly believe he cares for all Elena's friends and If Bonnie was in danger Damon wouldn't hesitate to save her. However, if it is a life and death situation and its b/w Bonnie and Elena..Then he will choose Elena. He proved this when he wanted to use Bonnie to kill Klaus so Elena could be safe. That was him choosing Elena. Simple As! Goodnight. 15 mins to 4.omg!

_VivalaVida_ See, I could even get what you say, but to me these reasons don't make sense...at all. 1. We perfectly know that Elena is the total opposite of the books. Almost everything and everyone changed from the books prospective..but if one thing will always remain the same is the love triangle between Stefan/Elena/Damon. No matter what behavior the characters have, it won't ever change. When it comes to less important aspects like the Bamon connection, it's clear since the beginning that their relationship is completely different from the books and writers didn't go for it. I think that a lot of you who are fans of Bamon on the show, tend to find the excuse that they will obviously happen b/c of the books. Well, let me say that I don't see that happening unless the writers want to destroy Damon's character, as far as I'm concerned. 2. The love triangle will go on until the end of the show. That's a fact. I'm not saying that both Damon and Stefan can't have other love interests during the serie.. but not as strong as their love for Elena. When Damon loves someone, he loves unconditionally and deeply. There is no way that he will ever stop loving Elena. He was faitfhul to Katherine for 145 years, and when she came back he was ready to take her back even if she made him suffer like hell. Only after knowing the bitch she was he completely lost the respect for her (but IMO he was already falling in love with Elena at the time. He was in love with Elena but since she was with Stefan and he thought that maybe he still had a chance with Katherine, he went for her). But Elena is the absolute opposite of Katherine. I know that a lot of SE and DB fans are saying that she's always more like Kath because she's falling even for Damon, but Elena is falling for Damon and she's doing it naturally and she doesn't want to hurt anyone. Katherine used and manipulated them on purpose, she liked that threesome thing, Elena instead is scared of it and she's trying to deny her feelings for Damon very much. So since Elena is a beloved, pure and caring person Damon will always love her and he won't EVER fall in love with someone else or love someone else like he does with Elena. 3. When it comes to Nian, I'm not saying that everybody HAS TO like them. I couldn't give a fuck. I just want people to respect them because they are human beings and they deserve respect. So when I see Bamon or Stelena fans saying horrible things about them; like they're doing it for publicity, Ian has a crush on Katerina and Nina on Paul, or they just suck as a couple..well, that piss the hell out of me because people only show how insecure and delusional are. 4. Chemistry is subjective, that's true. But honestly their 'I would gladly burn you alive/I would gladly let you die' is not chemistry. These two barely stand each other. And them happening would be so out of character that it would be a big bad joke for the viewers. 5. Nobody said that DE and BJ are sure endgame. WTF?! Saying that is hypocrital because we can't know that. But I see high chances of DE being endgame, I give them 50% of possibility. The writers are building them up so epically, plus almost everyone seem very pro-DE. When it comes to Beremy..well, with TVD you never know. I mean what if one of them will die during the show? We can't know that. And IMO they'll have even other love interests because things would be boring between them, but I see them finding eventually their way back. They already have a pretty big fanbase and I'm sure that with time it will even be bigger. 6. It doesn't mean anything. A lot of characters have similarites but it doesn't mean that they have to be together. Plus, some reasons of them describe even the similiarities between Damon and Elena. See, you have to understand that a lot of people, maybe almost everyone, that watch TVD is not even a fan of the books. So since books fans can say "Hey, Damon and Bonnie in the books have a thing so I think they will even in the show", for the others them happening would be like "WTF?! These two hated each other and now they're falling in love? This makes not sense because for the first two seasons they didn't show anything for make us think of them happening eventually." You know what I mean? As I said before, it would be too out of character for them both that I would be very pissed and disappointed with the writers. They make no sense whatsover. 7. Well, this shit that you're saying really is one of the things that make me pissed as hell. Why the fuck every DB fan say that that EPIC scene for DE, is a freaking foreshadowing for DB!? Just because Damon said Bonnie's name? I'm sure as hell that if it was Caroline or whoever else Elena cared about, he would have said his/her same. In that case it was Bonnie, but believe me, Damon meant what he said. And if anything, this is just a foreshadowing for the future; he will ALWAYS CHOOSE HER over everyone else no matter what no matter when. Put that in your mind, that's a DE foreshadowing b/c he will always choose her and there's nothing you can do about it. So STOP saying that it was a Bamon foreshadowing because it's a colossal bullshit.

teamcastiel @_VivalaVida_ 1) I don't think dating Bonnie would destroy his character. If there is proper build up between them then I would hope they accept each other. But I really do feel it's a total waste if the writers ignore the relationship. 2) I know DE fans will never see this point but I actually want Damon to be with others who aren't Elena so he can become a better character. I'm not saying Bonnie but when Rose was on there, I loved that connection separate from Elena. But then again if he sticks to Elena throughout the series, I have no power. 3) I really don't care and it confuses me when other people try to speak on what they know nothing about anyway I'm saying this one shouldn't even be an issue between fans. 5) I don't even talk about endgames the one couple I thought was endgame (Jalaric) is done (Maybe it's TVD) but that broke my heart and I really understand that DE is very possible of endgame. I just don't think DB should be counted out. 6) That's kinda my point, characters connect all the time. And once again I agree with you the second I feel DB got rushed and had no build up is the second I would stop shipping them. I think NO Bamon fan wants them to happen randomly. I think you aren't getting what I'm trying to say 7) I don't feel that scene was a Bamon scene - I said I liked the scene because a part of me will always like Delena too and I just liked the scene but Bonnie part was unnecessary and not because I'm a Bamon fan because I'm a DAMON fan. It kinda seemed like a step back for his character but that's just me I guess.

_VivalaVida_ I get your points and I appreciate your mood on saying them, I finally found a mature DB fan. Lol. :) Still, I keep disagree because I really don't see an understanding or something. The writers never mentioned them or a possibility of them happening on the show. Plus, I don't understand the rudeness and the hypocrity of a lot of Bamon fans disliking and insulting DE scenes, but then using icons and doing videos with manips of their scenes or even making picks asking which DE quote you would have liked for DB! The hilarious thing is that when you're watching that scene/quote in the very Delena scene, you say how awful and boring it is, but then dreaming of DB having that one (one can dream) is suddenly epic and wonderful. Sheesh. I know that not all DB fans are like that, but really..at the beginning I didn't even know the existence of Bamon, when I found out they were totally indifferent in my eyes..but man, seeing all the hate and rudeness in your spot really made me hate the pair and a lot of you fans to be honest. You're so mean and disprectful. You should bash and insult less (especially one DB fan that is pretty crazy), and commenting on what you have..and dream and invent a lot as you're doing, lol. teamcastiel ^^ Dear God DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT judge a ship by the fans. lol - There are a lot of nice DB fans, just like there are nice DE fans. Some people ruin it for the WHOLE fanbase. I've seen some of DE fans that made rude jokes about DB and it made me not want to be a DE fan but then ep. 22 came on and the DE kiss scene changed my mind.Plus, I don't really think some shippers are childish and mean (well most of them) but they just want their ship to work out. And I don't really see a lot of DE bashing but then again I try not to look hard b/c I still treat DE like one of my main ships (because they are) and like Bamon. I try to stay out of the craziness but I did want to write this article. But thanks for responding and I can see I found a mature DE fan.

jereimy Hey, I like your article right now I am a TVD Fan, I dont care about couples, but Bamon was the first couple that I started to ship here, when I watched TVD season 1, Bamon was the first couple I liked so I always have a soft spot about Bamon. 1.I think in this point every one is a little confused, because Elena is a selfish in book , it doesnt mean elena will kiss Damon in season three and cheating Stefan all the time ( Like in the books) as the same way bamon connection is different but from me its better, bonnie in the books is a little childish but I like her, but Bamon in show is fire, pure fire, so I like that, but books and show are different and hopefully elena in season three, doesnt change too much because right now I can stand her but in the books I hate her. 2.Well, Damon loves Elena I know, and he loves Katherine, still for me and 2x22 proves me that because in his mind all he has was Katherine and elena is the closest he has Katherine, so he looked for elena but in his mind he thinks in Katherine all the time. People forget or deny certain scenes, I dont. I remebered clearly the: I CHOOSE YOU KATHERINE. So for me he is not totally over Katherine, because Rose was in the same state and she thinks in his lovely family and friends, Damon thinks in his lovely katherine. So that confuse me a little about Damon's feelings. For that reason I think the most healthy for Damon will be fall in love with someon else, someone who always choose him and someone that loves him and only him( Elena never can do that because like DE fans says it is a love triangle, she will never forget Stefan) so maybe Bonnie could be the one. 3.About the nian thing, I think DE fans are really obsessed witht that, I really really dont care about them, that is their PRIVATE LIFE so... I dont care 4.Bamon has it and the few scenes we haver are really excellent scenes. 5.Beremy eghhhhh I hate them, a couple so lame and Bonnie deserves better, I love Bonnie and she deserves more than jeremy, jeremy is and always will be a child, she needs someone with strengt even Klaus is better match for Bonnie that jeremy, Jeremy doesnt give her nothing. And well Bamon has sense to me, and the I always choose you can change, Elena doesnt change the " ALways is Stefan" but in season three she will change that, why Damon can change?????

They do have chemistry in my opinion and have lots of banter-and are no always saying death threats-saying that that's all they say is wrong! I could say "Elena rejecting Damon every other episode" isn't chemistry BUT that's not all they say so it's untrue!
