Did anyone else lose interest after the parents died?

I dound them 더 많이 interesting than the kids. I thought their feud could have been morw played out and emotional instead of ending so fast in three books. The only issue i really liked after that was when Chase's uncle showed up. The series just didn't have any direction without the Pride. At least that's how it seemed to me.
