더 오피스 Daryll's ipod?

okay, so i just rewatched Back From Vacation and for the LIFE OF ME i could not figure out why daryll was so happy when he found his ipod speakers.

does it mean anything? did this come up some time before and i'm just forgetting?

(ps. sorry if this was asked before...)

i think it's just a random thing they wanted to contrast with pam being so upset. it goes right from him saying "this is the best day of my life!!" to pam crying on the bench. that's my opinion anyway.

Everyone was sending around the picture of Michael and Jan in Jamaica. Could it have anything to do with that? Like someone sent it to his ipod?

im 100% sure you cant send emails to ipod speakers.........and i dont think its an ironic transition, cant just have two opposites and call it irony....

"The object that Darryl finds is an iPod dock with speakers.[1] Presumably, it was lost during "Casino Night", in which Darryl voiced concerns about something getting stolen during the event."
