Just curious...

I just had this thought after watching the 미리 보기 for the 다음 episode and Sheldon's sheer panic when he was asked to go to the hospital with the gang.

But in "The Adhesive 오리 Efficiency" he didn't really react the way he reacted in this upcoming episode when Penny asked him to drive her there and not only did he do that, he sort of remained calm and even helped her fill up the forms. Which sort of goes against his fear of germs...

Am just curious as to what specific thing in a hospital freaks him out LOL

I guess that with Penny was an one time thing. He had to drive her because there was noone else around and she was in a lot of pain. He was forced to play the hero and to help the "damsel in distress". Now in this case, his presense there isn't obligatory. Howard's mom is already in the hospital and noone needs him to do anything but to be supportive and that's not exactly his thing as we saw in the ADD("there, there, Sheldon's here!":D).

Now as for the germs, I'm actually not sure myself what's going on..There are times that he doesn't seem to be afraid of them and others that he does..:/

As much as I 사랑 The Big Bang Theory the 글쓰기 from time to time is abit inconsistent to say the least. I mean we've seen him in hospitals before like when Leonard was dating Dr. Stephanie, he went there twice once with Leonard and once 의해 himself.

Maybe he's gotten 더 많이 germaphobic? I dunno lol. Only thing I could think of to explain it.
