I'm hoping he keeps fighting along side Bobby or someone rather than going mad looking for a way to bring Dean back. And I hope he doesn't go all MS Sammy (a cross between Dean and John - obsessive scary guy) as hot as he was then!!! :D

For me, it's actually a tie between Sam holing up in a room somewhere trying to get Dean out and becoming the Sam we saw in Mystery Spot. In fact, he may well do both--hole himself up and at the same time become the M.S. Sam.
