1. WTF is wrong with 슈퍼맨 Returns?
2. Did anyone know that 슈퍼맨 is an American staple? Is it save to say Mickey 쥐, 마우스 will soon be a sewer rat? The American flag will have polka-dots? Coca-Cola will taste like warm Michelob? Sony will start making crappy defective video game products?.......oh.
3. The kid was too young. He was an excellent Clark Kent. Teenage 슈퍼맨 is stupid. I got a film idea for Brandon Routh's teenage 슈퍼맨 (go and look! It sucks but look anyway!) but here it didn't work.

Superman: Opinions on the New 52

With the New 52 far behind, I can look back on it with 더 많이 nuanced eyes and give my opinion. Here it goes...

While the decision to significantly modify Superman's status quo in the New 52 is not one I agree with, it is one I can understand. 슈퍼맨 had become such an iconic character not only to DC, but to modern culture, that it was a major challenge to write him as an emotionally compelling protagonist in a dramatic story. 의해 taking him out of his comfort zone, 슈퍼맨 could be portrayed as a 더 많이 fallible and human character and adapt to a world that may no longer see his ideals as relevant....
