Emmys 2016: Stranger Things kids deliver PB&J sandwiches to audience

, Kimmel cut to video footage of his mom preparing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, which the child actors then helped pass out to the audience by riding in on bicycles. “I know these shows are long, and I know a lot of you haven’t eaten since Labor Day,” Kimmel joked. 

While the Emmys host made time to ask about any potential allergies, an announcement during the commercial break stated: “Ladies and gentlemen, please be advised. If you are allergic to peanut butter and gluten, the lunch bags you are receiving contain both ingredients.”

star Kevin Spacey was spotted chowing down on his own sandwiches for the cameras. 

The stunt brings back memories of Ellen DeGeneres ordering pizza for everyone at the Oscars during her 2014 hosting stint, but these snacks came with special messages. After Kimmel noted that his mom usually includes notes with her lunch bags, he had some celebs read theirs out.

actor teased Kimmel’s mom doesn’t get out to the movies much. The Emmys host then jokingly chastised Amy Schumer for eating her note, before the comedian read hers.
