Are there any other intelligent species within the Klingon Empire besides Klingons?

I cannot recall ever seeing a non-klingon described as being an inhabitant of a world within the Klingon Empire. Is this a one-species political entity, 또는 is it a diverse community with a military dominated 의해 one species (akin to how Starfleet is dominated 의해 humans)?
