I heard they were going to make the 초 movie but they abandoned it later. I think 13dreamer is right, don't give up hope. We could just make a petition and perhaps send a bunch of letters for extra persuasion.

Unfortuanley, I ahve heard many rumors, and searched online many times, and checked on their site and everywhere I could, unfortuanly Spirit 2 is never coming. Very sad, but unfrotuanly true.
There is nothing on 인터넷무비 데이타베이스 또는 인터넷무비 데이타베이스 Pro (the latter of which creates an entry the same 일 a film is confirmed). The "trailers" on 유튜브 are fan-made. The "plots" circulating are excerpts from various children's 책 that followed the film. 의해 Hollywood's formula (gross 200% of the budget), the original was not a success. Nor did critics respond positively.

What, are we supposed to call them and ask for a sequel? They're not gonna tell 당신 if they're making a sequel. I already tried asking them months ago. The guys and gals at Dreamworks 애니메이션 pointed me to Paramount because Paramount does their marketing. The rep at Paramount said they do not release info about 영화 to the public until the press has been notified first. Thanks for Dreamwork's contact info... but, it would be just a dead end.
So.... Spirit still has a chance. And Spirit was considered a moderate success(maybe not 의해 Hollywood's formula... but, nonetheless, successful) and many critics did respond positively.
My best friend told me they are making it right now and it took 4 years to make the 1st movie so it might take them that long 또는 shorter 또는 longer who knows thats what i heard:D

All the rumors about a Spirit 2 is only partially correct. As of 2017 they are making a Netflix movie based off of Spirit Stallion of Cimarron and will be naming the series Spirit Riding free. In my opinion Netflix as always is making this super shitty and fucked up the antimation of Spirit and made it into a CGI series. Sadly there will be no original Spirit 2 but instead a fucking Netflix series. I have attatched a video of me ranting to the series if 당신 want to watch at your own risk.

That isn't true...at least with Dreamworks. I found 슈렉 2 and Madagascar 2 very good.
But 당신 said that Dreamworks can't make a bad sequel because of Madagascar and Shrek, so really your judging how if they made a sequel to Spirit it will be equally good just like 슈렉 and Madadgascar.
I never said can't. Just that it's the same company so they have the same style of making movies, and I don't know about 당신 but Dreamworks is my 가장 좋아하는 movie company since I like a lot of their movies.

Darn straight. It took how many years for Bambi to get a sequel? Spirit still has a chance... especially since Dreamworks 애니메이션 appears to be running out of ideas for 영화 'cause they just keep making sequels... and to 영화 who don't really deserve it!(except for HTTYD... that was a good movie) They should give a sequel to a movie that deserves it!
Actually I think they might because look at toy story 15yrs for the 3rd one!! I really hope they make a new one. I was maybe...I dunno six when the first one came out and I absolutely fell in 사랑 with it! I begged my parents to take me to it, then begged for the DVD, and got nearly every toy for it. I vividly remember playing Spirit with my cousins for hours. I know would be one of the first people to go buy the new one, and I agree with the rest of ya'll, there is much 더 많이 to happen! Spirit and Rain's offspring, the railroad, and other stuff.

I realllllyyy think they should make a 초 spirit , im 12 and ive grown up watching it and to this 일 i still own the VHS copy of it , i watched the trailer to the movie a bit 이전 ad i got chills , I 사랑 spirit stallion of the Cimarron i hope they make another one! I will cry if they do. I have also been trying to find a way to contact Dream works to 이메일 then to tell them it would be a good idea to make a 초 Spirit.
I hope so, i loved that movie, and even though i'm 15 i'd 사랑 to see them make another one. And just because it's been almost ten years doesn't mean that their not gonna make another one. I mean look at Toy story, it was like several years before they made a toy story 3. I don't know for sure, but it could happen. I've only seen fan-made trailers of the 초 one on YouTube. At the same time, I hope it DOES happen. I mean, look at The Jungle Book series-it took them over 30 years to make a sequel. And the Peter Pan series-it took them like 50 years (yes, 50!) to make a sequel. And about the Bambi series, it took them who knows how many years to make THAT sequel. In my opinion, I have mixed feelings about seeing a Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron 2. I loved the first one, I re-watched it 5 times in one 일 once when I was 8. I also think I'd 사랑 to see the sequel its just that sometimes the 초 movie is bad and sometimes it ruins my opinion of the first movie, however I'd still watch it and I'd probably enjoy it too. I'm not completely sure whether DreamWorks is going to make a sequel but maybe if we wait and see, we'll find out. Plus, I'd rather wait for a masterpiece like the first movie to come out rather than some crap that was rushed together. Time and effort are needed to make something truly magical. I really respect the people who made this movie. I think as 팬 of a movie we really love, we jut want it to continue and we don't want it to end. But I think sometimes we forget that people need a lot of time, effort, money, and teamwork to create a movie so it is kind of rude to rush them. Either way, I'll be glad whether there is a 초 movie 또는 not.

Many of 당신 will be mad with my answer, but many people said that there was suppose to be a 초 one made between 2010 and 2012ish it is now December 28, 2015 and there is no actual spirit two. I am 13, I first saw this movie that I remember was about two yes It came out in 2002 it came out two months before I was born so I didn't really see it until well 당신 know. I have seen this movie millions maybe trillions of times, and it is probably my 가장 좋아하는 movie and now they are saying that it might come out in 2016. I hope but it is very slim chances, and btw all the trailers made for it are fake they are all like three years old and they still haven't made an actual Spirit: Stallion Of The Cimarron

Yes they are going to make a Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron 2. A women in Walt 디즈니 said they are currently working on the movie. It is going to come out June 20th 2016. If they are making a finding nemo movie after all of these years, I wouldn't be surprised if they made a new Spirit movie.

Well it's 2016 October 2 and I have heard nothing on spirit 2 coming out,but does not mean I'm giving up on the movie! I loved spirit 1 and all my siblings did and I have 5 siblings,and me and my sister 사랑 it the most ,and we're not giving up so if u don't think it's coming out well it is just has not made it yet , but I still have hope!

That said, the “Trailer” for the 초 movie was fan-made. And I think someone commented about a 디즈니 employee claiming that there will be a part two... That’s a hoax because Dreamworks isn’t Disney. 디즈니 and Dreamworks have had some petty fight going on for years now. It may be cooling down, but there’s no way Dreamworks would ever hand Spirit over to 디즈니 for a sequel.
And sadly, we already know what happens to the herd. If 당신 don’t know, 당신 can find their ending in your history book.
There is no way for the 초 movie to have a happy ending. Spirit’s whole thing is being wild, free, and untamable! (*cough* an issue in the Netflix series smh)
Spirit getting caught for good, helplessly watching as his herd is separated and his homeland is destroyed, and witnessing the massacre of the Lakota tribe (via Smallpox and constant wars) isn’t something I’d want to see...
