It's My Party: Sophia 부시, 부시 대통령은 Hosts LeSportsac 35th Anniversary Celebration in SoHo

I got the opportunity to stop 의해 the LeSportsac 35th Anniversary party in SoHo that Teen Vogue hosted last Thursday. It was so fun to look around the boutique and see all the 캔디 and cute little snacks (they brought us Izze sodas with colored straws and vanilla milkshakes!), but I was definitely anxious to see the host of the night's festivities: Sophia Bush!

She posed for the photographers, and then she and I got a moment to chat about her life, career, and fashion.

Teen Vogue: What are 당신 wearing?
Sophia Bush: It's a French Connection dress, all the jewelry is 의해 House of Lavande spelled like Lavender without the R.

TV: And your shoes?
SB: YSL. [TV: They were the YSL Tribute Double-Platform Pump!]

TV: What's the best part of coming to events like these?
SB: Well, it's always nice to support magazines and brands that 당신 like, but the best part is seeing your 팬 base!

TV: Tell me: Your character, Brooke Davis, has become a New York celebrity who lives this glamorous life. Here 당신 are, as Sophia Bush, doing the same thing! Is it art imitating life?
SB: There are things about Brooke and I are that are similar--our passion for 프렌즈 and for right and wrong. She's definitely the 더 많이 provocative one--I've only had 4 boyfriends since high school! It's always great to be here, though. It's my second-favorite city in the world!

TV: 초 favorite?
SB: LA is my home, so that's first, but we shoot the show in Wilmington, NC, so I'm there a lot, too.

TV: What brought 당신 to New York then?
SB: I came up for Fashion Week, and went to the Catherine Malandrino show earlier today. [She also made a pit stop 의해 the Reem Acra presentation and the Herve Leger 의해 Max Azria 통로, 활주로 show!]

TV: Who is your 가장 좋아하는 designer?
SB: I had to miss two of his shows because we were filming, but Max Azria is my 가장 좋아하는 designer because he's my 가장 좋아하는 as a person--to be so humble! He and his wife are so passionate about people and about life. I'm so in awe of them! I mean, I could tell 당신 how much I 사랑 Balenciaga and YSL, but I 사랑 them because of their work. I 사랑 Max because of who he is as a person.

I thanked Sophia and wanted to let her get back to the fans--there were still TONS of 당신 waiting for autographs and 사진 opportunities. Wasn't she amazing in person?
