i don't have to wait for the new season to start...but i do really like both

Hopefully some of her more frustrating personality traits will be kept out of the on screen version. The book version of Sookie is stubborn as hell.

i haven't read the books though...

i like the show we see more of sookie's friends!but i love the books you see hot much sweeter eric is!!

I like the show more because Sookie seems more connected to Bill in the books she seems really tough and stubborn. I've only read the first one so far of the books but i have to say the show seems miles better to be. Plus since the creator Alan Ball says in an interview that he won't be following the books concerning Bill and Sookie i dont't think that people would need to read them to follow the show.

I prefer the books but i do love the show also.

the show, i cant comment about the books so i have no idea if they are good or not, though i know i should defiantly read them :)

O.K. Now that season 2 is over I have to change my vote to Show. It's just SO GOOD!
