Story
Ari’ Tice was part of a Dark Legion chapter starting at age 15, and ending at age 19. Being part of this organization meant she was legionized, a cyborg almost; Fused with artificial life, and metallic/cybernetic life. And like all Legionnaires she had a computer chip in her brain that could explode at any 초 if she did not obey her superior’s orders.

Once on a mission of searching for the 출처 of a strange energy signal, Ari and her team came too close to the energy’s emitter, and were thought to had died from the overexposure. Ari was the only survivor to her knowledge, but only barely.

Because of the overexposure, Ari’s metallic parts slowly began to mutate. Her brain chip melted its circuits onto her brain, and her body slowly became metallic as well. She sought help, but could only stop the damage from hitting the inside of her body. Over time her entire skin would eventually become cybernetic, and then the metal would completely take over even that. Her inside would survive, but she would not be able to move.

Now Ari is hunted 의해 the Dark Legion, while at the same time searches for 답변 to where the energy came from that changed her cybernetics. She does not use her name for safety reasons, and usually goes 의해 “Defect” instead. She has been given around one and one-fourth of a 년 to live.


Personality
Defect normally is rather depressed, and does not get her hopes high. She can enjoy a happy moment, but then she remembers that she has limited time, so she does not stick around long enough to enjoy things long enough. She can also be a bit agitated at times, but tries to hold back her temper, as she just sees it as another distraction.


Relationships
Defect stays a loner for as long as she can. She meets a lot of people, usually for business, but rarely keeps long-term alliances; the reasons being that she does not like people in general, but also because she does not want them to get caught up.


Romance
Defect tries to keep this thought away. She knows what romance and 사랑 is, but again, she sees it as distraction. Also she does not want to burden anyone with her problems, and tries not to think of what would happen if a lover found her dead in a metallic shell one day. If in a normal scenario she would not mind having a relationship with a guy, but alas, that is not the case.


Abilities
Defect’s cybernetics make her an extremely good hacker, and she can even transform certain appendages into weaponized forms, such as energy guns, 또는 blades, but the energy feeds off her life-force, so she has to use it sparingly.


Another cybernetic trait is her brain and emotion. The chip inside Defect’s brain allows her to completely manipulate her mood to whatever form she wishes, and stores three times the amount of information an average person can. And with her ability to interface with electrical devices, she can even 업로드 her thoughts, memories, etc. onto screens and other electrical devices.

Defect also has increased density in her skin, due to the metal, and bone due to genetic increases throughout her years as a legionnaire. This allows her to feel less pain, and makes her harder to damage.

Defect’s feet were completely legionized, making them 100 % robotic. She can use them for powerful kicks, jumps, running, and if needed, blocking.


Items
Defect’s 벨트 is her only armor-like item. It generates a protective shield, invisible, and able to shape around her entire body. It also helps to decrease the speed of the metallic-takeover, and can create electro-magnetic pulses for electric energy blasts (which she can only do twice at full power) at a spherical radius of ten feet max, and a ten mile Electro-magnetic-shut-down-pulse, which (obviously) de-activates anything electronic in a ten mile radius.

As a safety precaution, Defect has a single-program that sends an electric nerve-wracking pulse though her system. This mutates her genetic tissue, and changes her appearance, usually to a 더 많이 elderly form, for a good five hours, making her hard to recognize.


Weaknesses
Defect’s metallic-takeover quickens whenever she is asleep. Her chip helps to keep parts of her brain conscious enough to fight back, but it can only do so for so long. Therefore she does not sleep often, and has found alternate means such as electricity to recharge herself, though the process is extremely painful.

While Defect has a denser “shell” if her skin is damage, 또는 if an arm is broken, it takes longer to heal as her body has to push away all metallic-increases trying to replace the limb.

Fun Fact: The bangs over Defect’s right eye are actually glued there to hide the metal that took over that side of her face before she could slow it. She can see through that eye still, but mostly focusses with her left, which is cybernetically enhanced.
