I’m 글쓰기 this review to post on the site, as a celebration of the movie's release on Valentine’s 일 in 2011, in the U.K. I, myself, am not in the U.K. but it’s as good an excuse as any. PAUL is my all-time 가장 좋아하는 movie and I’ve seen a LOT of movies!
‘PAUL’ is written 의해 Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, who also 별, 스타 in the film. This is a madcap comedy that keeps 당신 on your toes wondering what is going to happen next. Paul is an alien who Simon and Nick's characters meet, and then the fun begins. Paul is an interesting character portrayed 의해 the voice of Seth Rogen, who is perfect in the role and completely encompasses the character, bringing him to life. I forget I am listening to Seth!
As a major 팬 of Simon, I can tell 당신 that if 당신 somehow missed this one 당신 are missing out. If 당신 can get your hands on a copy of the DVD, watch the add-on ‘Simon Pegg's Funny Faces'. It is HILARIOUS!!! The movie is packed with stars, which I will not reveal who and spoil it for you. 당신 can find that out for yourself.
I 사랑 Simon Pegg and Nick Frost equally in their physical humor in ‘PAUL’, (and ‘Hot Fuzz'), sooo good. I also 사랑 the 글쓰기 and the storyline, and the cinematography is terrific. I don’t know directing, but with all of the good 연기 going on I’ll bet it’s terrific also.
I think ‘PAUL’ would be enjoyed 의해 all those who appreciate sketch comedy shows such as ‘Saturday Nite Live’ and ‘Mad TV’, and of course science fiction films since it is a Sci-Fi comedy. There is a lot of subtlety that 당신 need to watch closely for making it fun to watch over and over. My husband and I watch it every time it comes on, plus we own the DVD, plus his movie geek friend put it on a stick drive for us... Each time we see it we notice something new and laugh hysterically.
I would 사랑 to see a sequel as it seems perfectly set up for one. My only feeling of anything even resembling disappointment is that the film ends at all! ‘PAUL' is an awesome movie. Get it. 당신 won’t be sorry 당신 did.
