are the first silent 언덕, 힐 and silent 언덕, 힐 shattered memories the same?

now before 당신 brush this off as stupid hear me out okay so i'm very new to the silent 언덕, 힐 series and have only played one game so far. the reason i'm asking is because i read the summery to the first game and it sounded extremly similer to shattered memories i'm going to play the game either way but i was just curious
