It's been a few months since Sherlock was in hospital and Joan is now six months pregnant with their baby.Sherlock has been sleeping in Irene's old room as he and Joan aren't together.
He woke up, still missing the warmth Joan's body lying 다음 to his own. He got up from his 침대 and sat for a moment, only three 더 많이 months till their son would arrive. He couldn't wait to meet him. He went upstairs and found Joan in the kitchen. She looked so beautiful to him, always did.

'Shhh.' Joan shook her head but she loved how involved he still was even though they weren't together. She then, subconsciously, started to run her hand through his hair. She couldn't see him but Sherlock shut his eyes, enjoying the movement her hands made. After a few moments he raised his head, now their faces were only inches apart. He closed the gap between them, his lips making quick contact with hers. Joan pulled away.
'Sherlock, we can't...'
'I don't care.'
He once again closed the gap between them. The 키스 was soft and slow. Joan wanted to pull away but something wouldn't let her. She wrapped her arms around his neck while his went round her waist. Sherlock pulled away slowly.

'My brother. He wants me to meet me.' He turned to Joan. 'Looks like I'm going to London.'
London seemed like foreign country to Sherlock. As the cab pulled up outside 221b, old memories started to resurface. He wished Joan could come but she couldn't fly due to recent events. He opened the door and went upstairs, he still had his old keys. The flat looked so different, 더 많이 dull.

'In the kitchen.' Sherlock placed his bag down and made his way through. 'Did 당신 have a pleasant flight?'

She missed him.. and she wanted to get to know her baby's future uncle. She wants to tell her son everything about his father's side..but only if Sherlock would let her. She knows he keeps some secrets from her but...it feels like he doesn't trust her. She rubbed her hand over tummy.

Sherlock went for a walk around London, trying to get use to his old surroundings. He did miss this place. He went through the park, where his mother took him and Mycroft as children.
