I want them to be together to make Sev happy, but Lily didn't deserve Severus. She wasn't a true friend. True friends look pass of what has been done and forgive them. She didn't forgive Sev for what he said and he did say he was sorry. But she still didn't forgive him. But she ends up dating and marrying his worst enemy who picked on him in school. If Lily can't forgive Sev for saying a silly word then how can she forgive James for picking on her best friend all those years? So yeah Lily doesn't deserve Sev. Sev deserves so much better. Poor guy.

I agree with the numerous other comments. I don't think Severus and Lily should be together. It was a childhood infatuation, that had a regretable end. I wish they had had the chance to grow and experience the first passion, the first breakup, and the enduring friendship that would remain, before moving on to other, more secure and stronger relationships.
