The coelacanth (Latimeria chalumnae) is the darling of Creation. Its story demonstrates that long-thought-extinct 동물 can still be found. Evolutionists believe that the coelacanth died out when the 공룡 met their demise some 65 million years ago. Coelacanth has been found in the fossil record but that is just the beginning to this remarkable story.
The coelacanth, a lobe-finned fish, supposedly appeared during the so-called Devonian period, some 350 million years ago. But what happen in 1938, when a coelacanth was brought up from the depths of the sea, in a net off South Africa 의해 Captain Hendrick Goosen, of the fishing 트롤 어선, 트롤 어 선 Nerine, changed the course of evolution history and gave evidence for Creation.
The coelacanth they found was a five-foot-long, 127-pound, large-scaled blue specimen. The amazing thing about it is that it look the same as the fossil found of it. If evolution is true, this coelacanth should of changed to something else. But it did not, it was the same 물고기 with fins.
The Bible tells us plainly that 물고기 were created on the fifth 일 of creation week (Genesis 1:20-23) 의해 God. And 물고기 are still fish.
