Sorry it took so long. I’m leaving town tomorrow to stay with my friend at his house in Big 곰 so I don’t know when I’ll get around to typing part 8.

They all laughed at me.
“Ok, let’s see. Blanket, 당신 want cookies. Jermajesty wants to know how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop. Donte wants Kayla’s vintage corvette convertible, and Genevieve is 노래 Total Eclipse of the 심장 in her head.”
Silence, that’s all I got.
“That is AWESOME!” Blanket exclaimed
“Can 당신 teach us?” Jermajesty asked
“Wow, your like Edward”, Donte said
“Where’d 당신 learn how to do that?” Genevieve asked
“I know. I can’t, I don’t sparkle, and I don’t know”, I said answering all of their questions.
Just then Paris walked into the room. “Kayla and Daryn are sleeping over, they’ll be here in a couple of minutes.
< Jaafar’s point of view >
A few 분 later grandma came downstairs to inform us that Kayla and Daryn were pulling into the driveway. I walked over and opened the door then Paris, Prince, and Donte stood around me in the doorway. I could see Kayla’s shiny black corvette coming from around the corner. She parked right in front of the door and got out with Daryn.
“Donte, mind parking my car? I’m lazy”, Kayla said.
She may be lazy at times, but only said that because she knew Donte liked her car. Yeah, I know what your probably thinking. How the heck is she 14 and driving? Her dad taught her when she was 12, and then gave her a set of keys to his car.
Daryn walked up to the door stiffly. She had on her pajamas and her hair was wild.
“Kayla. Drives. So. Fast.” She said
“Well, I am speed demon!” she said laughing. I 사랑 her laugh.
“Of course 당신 do Jaafar, now lets get them inside before they catch a cold”, Prince said walking into the room.
“Come on guys, I got a new pet ladybug”, Paris said dragging Daryn and Kayla up the stairs and into her room. Genevieve followed close behind them.
“You wanna go crash Paris’ sleepover?” I asked Prince
“Duh!” he said running up the stairs with me trailing close behind.
We entered Paris’ room to find all of them sprawled out on the floor watching a ladybug in a jar.
“You guys are so boring”, Prince said jumping on Paris’ bed
“Are not! We were just about to play truth 또는 dare.”
“I’m in!” I said taking a 좌석 between Kayla and Paris
“I never asked 당신 to play” Paris stated sternly
“Aw, just let him play P-Bunni”, Kayla said smiling
I just about melted.
“Need some ice Jaafar?” Prince asked grinning
“Aww shutup and get outta my head”
“If 당신 guys shut your holes 당신 can play” Paris said
“Ok, we’ll be quiet” I agreed
“Jaafar, truth, dare double dare, 또는 promise to repeat?” Paris asked me
“What kind of version are 당신 playing?” I asked
“Just choose one egg head!” she exclaimed
“Okay! Promise to repeat”
She thought about it for a 초 and then Prince whispered something in her ear. She smiled devilishly while rubbing her hands together.
“You have to repeat your 가장 좋아하는 pick up line to Kayla”, Paris said giggling
“How’d 당신 know about that?” I demanded
“Prince told me.” She replied smiling
“Prince, I told 당신 to stay out of my head!”
“What? 당신 think I take orders from you?” Prince said laughing
<Kayla’s point of view>
They are so strange.
“We are not strange!” Prince exclaimed
Did I say that out loud?
“No”, he said
Oh, can 당신 stay out of my head please?
“Wow, you’re taking this well”, Prince said confused.
What? The mind reading?
“Yes”
Oh, I know a guy…
“I’m not even gonna ask” Prince said with a strange facial expression.
“What the heck is Prince talking about?” Daryn asked
“He reads minds.” Jaafar stated
“Ok, what’s really going on?”
“He’s telling the truth”, Prince told Daryn
“Ok, Kayla told me that Jaafar was a little off, but now I think you’re both crazy!”
“Hey! I am not ‘a little off’.” Jaafar said.
“Prince, Jaafar, get out! 당신 are making my guest feel uncomfortable”, Paris yelled pointing to the door.
They got up and left the room in an awkward silence, Paris was the first one to break it.
“Genevieve?” she turned around to find Gen asleep behind her and giggled.
“Another one bites the dust!” I sang
“Let’s leave her alone. I set up sleeping bags and junkfood downstairs.” Paris said motioning for us to follow her.
We walked downstairs and into the den. There were 3 sleeping bags lined in a row, and different kinds of snacks and drinks on the coffee 표, 테이블 and on the floor.
<Prince’s Point Of View>
I could hear Paris and her 프렌즈 playing the Wii from all the way upstairs. It’s ten o’clock pm. There are people trying to go to sleep! Wait, Jaafar’s asleep… That doesn’t mean that everyone is though.
I got out of 침대 and walked down the hallway into Jermajesty and Blanket’s room. Asleep. I crossed the hall into Randy and Donte’s room. Asleep. I walked down the hallway into Genevieve’s room and saw she wasn’t there. So I checked Paris’ room. She was there…sleeping. I walked downstairs to find Paris and Daryn belting out Don’t Stop Believing with the 글리 cast on TV while Kayla sat on the 침상, 소파 staring blankly at the wall.
“Paris, can 당신 lower the noise level? I’m trying to get to sleep.” I said rubbing my eyes.
She got the remote and turned down the volume, but still sang loudly with Daryn.
“Fine, I’m going to sleep outside so I can’t hear 당신 guys through the soundproof walls.” I said walking out of the room. I got a 베개 from the bench 다음 to the back door and walked around our backyard until I came to the strip of 잔디 in front of the pool.
An 시간 later:)
I had only been asleep for an 시간 before I heard footsteps coming towards me. I looked up to see Kayla in her pajamas holding a big blanket.
“I thought 당신 could use a blanket”, she said handing it over
“Thanks” I said spreading it out over my body
“Do 당신 think Jaafar likes me?” she blurted out before covering her mouth with her hands
I pulled up the blanket and patted the empty spot 다음 to me. She sat down 다음 to me and pulled the covers up to her waist.
“I think he does”, I said turning on my side to face her.
She turned also. “Well, he sure has a funny way of showing it”
“How so” I asked
“He looks at me strange, but doesn’t say a word”, she replied with her head down.
“Well at least he doesn’t think you’re a crazy psycho” I said
“What? 당신 think Daryn thinks your psychotic?” she asked
“I know she does. I read her mind.”
“I think the whole mind 읽기 thing freaked her out. Any normal person would think your crazy for claiming 당신 could read minds”
“You didn’t think I was crazy”, I pointed out
“Ah, but I’m not normal”, she replied with a smile.
I smiled too. “Thanks for caring”, I said
“Well, 당신 listen to my problems and I listen to yours”, she said standing up
I got up too. We walked to the door to go inside, but
“Uh oh”, she said as she struggled to open the door. “Paris must have locked it before she went to sleep!”
I started knocking on the door. Harder and harder with every knock, screaming out for someone inside to hear. Kayla just calmly walked back to where we were previously lying.
I walked back over to her to find her giggling. “You forgot the doors were soundproof huh?”
I laid down and turned my back to her. “Whatever”
“Goodnight Princelona”, she said.
“Goodnight Princess of Persia”I said before drifting off into a deep sleep.
