But I agree with debs, once your ears are pierced, you suddenly get loads of sets of earrings every birthday and Christmas, most of which I adore. Besides, I think an outfit is only properly accessorised with an earring in each ear and a matching necklace. =) I'd like to get my belly button pierced, I think. Though you can still see a little scar on the skin. I think piercings are pretty cool, and you can always take them out if you don't like them anymore.. posted over a year ago.

Perhaps it's because you can't find clip-on or screw-on ones as easily (which tend to hurt), or perhaps it's just a symbol of rebellion. Your guess is as good as mine. I wanted to get pierced ears when I was a teenager, but it wasn't allowed. After I was old enough to move out on my own, I pierced my own - 1 in each ear. I used to love wearing all different kinds, but now they have a tendancy to close up because I hardly ever wear any. posted over a year ago.

And I know quite a few people who got their bellybuttons pierced, but since they all did it at the same time it was kind of lame. Tongue piercings are scary though because you can be paralyzed, and it's dangerous to get them too high on the ear too. I think it's supposed to be below eye level or something posted over a year ago.
