I sing but are teacher makes us learn how to read sheet music I dont really prefer using it but i guess its nice knowing the notes and how its going to sound in your head before you start singing

I could listen to music and it just comes out. I can read sheet music, but I cannot read bass clef music.

the way i learned bass clef was for spaces i remembered All Cows Eat Grass A,C,E,G,and for the lines i remember Every Boy Deserves Fudge Always E,B,D,F,A

I'm best at playing the songs I've heard before, though.

But I prefer playing by ear... I don't know why,it's just ... better. :)

i usually have sheet music, but if i really want to learn something and i cant find sheet music, or am just really bored,i will play songs by ear.
so far i have completed by ear:
little lion man (mumford and sons)
play that song (carter and carter)
the edge of glory (lady gaga)
iridescent (linkin park)

I can read bass clef having played the baritone (and tuba XD) so I go by ear on the piano

My ears aren't much help and my memory doesn't support it either :P

No i learnt to read when I started playing the flute.. and I played that for 5 years before I started piano and then my piano teacher tried to teach me it again.. But yeah can read bass and treble.

Well, if its THAT kind of sheet music then yes. But if its just plain sheet music then no. I go by ear.
