Claudia and Skipper were sprawled over the 표, 테이블 yet again, screaming at each other. This seemed like a 가장 좋아하는 past-time for the two. It was an enjoyable experience for the rest of the team, too, though. They would bet on who would win if they ever got into a fist-fight. (Skipper didn’t know they always betted on Claudia.)
Private lay his head against the hard concrete 표, 테이블 in shame. “Would 당신 two please quit fighting?” He screamed over all the yelling. The two fighting parties, who were still yelling, turned their heads to Private and screamed, “Never!” Whilst still trying to mangle and mutilate the other emotionally. This is where Skipper had the upper hand.
“You’ll never amount to anything in the bullsh-t 당신 call a life!” Skipper screamed.
“You take it back, a-shole!” She screamed back, throwing a 물고기 directly at his face.
“Oh no 당신 didn’t!”
“Oh yes I did!”
There was an awkward silence. For about three seconds. This was when Skipper began to try and strangle the person now holding him in a full-nelson.
“Can’t… Breathe… Tap out, tap out!” Skipper wheezed out in-between gasps for air.
Claudia let go.
Kowalski stepped in. “If I were you, Skipper, I would let her go to that concert.”
Skipper glared at Kowalski, walked to the wall, and climbed into his bunk without saying another word.
“I’ll take it as a yes!” Said Claudia, who skipped to the door, just in time to hear the phone ring.
“I’ll get it!” She said, picking up the receiver. “Uh-huh, oh.. Okay.. Kowalski, it’s for you!” She said, handing the telephone to the smart one.
“Yes… Oh.. I see. Bye.” He said, hanging up the receiver. A silver tear erupted from his tear duct, like a 샤워 of mist captured in one tiny particle. It looked like a raindrop. And now it was flooding in the state of Kowalski’s face.
“What happened?” Asked Claudia worriedly. “Umm, uhh…” Kowalski couldn’t choke out anymore without collapsing into a puddle of a once proud penguin.
Claudia lowered herself down to his level. “What’s wrong?” She asked maternally. He whispered something into her ear.
“Oh dear, oh dear.” She said. A small tear escaped her eye too. “I’m really sorry.”
“It’s okay” He said. “but I have to be at the funeral in seven days.”
“Who died?” Exclaimed Private. “Who died?”
Kowalski looked depressingly at the icy cold stone floor.
“Mother” He muttered out as softly as physically possible.
Private’s eyes welled up with tears. “Mum?” He asked.
Kowalski solemnly nodded his head.
Private fainted, hitting his beak against the hard stone floor, spilling scarlet blood and staining the silvery stone.
Claudia slowly picked him up and put him in his bunk.
When she returned, there was only her, Kowalski and Rico left, but Rico felt discomfort in the bittersweet silence.
Three down, two to go.
She looked up into his eyes. The embers glowing in the mist, his eyes truly looked like blue flames of intelligence licking at the back of your soul.
“Kowalski, I’m going with you.” She whispered, as seriously as she could choke out.
“No. I won’t let 당신 get hurt. It would tear my insides out.” Kowalski was talking very adequately for someone gasping out every jagged breath.
“Are 당신 kidding?” She inquired. “Ha! Let me get hurt. It makes me laugh. You’re the one I’m worried about. It’s a five 일 trip to Nieba w warunkach pokrywy lodowej. What if 당신 got depressed and let bears eat you? No. I’m coming with you.” She said, holding his flippers.
He stared blankly at her. “How did 당신 know where my family lives? And how did 당신 know how to pronounce it?” He was quite curious.
“Znane są Państwu mniej niż o mnie Pan myśli.” She whispered sensually, as she strolled to the side of the bunks, looked at him and smirked, and hopped into bed.
