Note: I really hope 당신 guys enjoy this chapter. This is where it gets 더 많이 dramatic. Spoiler: (Private has a nightmare, that is pretty violent, so if 당신 don't wanna read that part I understand.) While I was 글쓰기 that part my electricity went out, which freaked me out and caused a delay on posting it. Sorry about that. ;)
Kowalski got his options notebook ready. "My 상단, 맨 위로 two suspects are: Ms. Williams and the maid. I think everyone agrees with me." Kowalski assumed. "Actually, Kowalski, I thought Timothy was 연기 guilty." Skipper said. "Here, all in favor of my idea raise your flipper." Kowalski said, as all except for Skipper raised his flipper. "Sorry, Skipper, we all just -" Kowalski said. "It's fine, let's just get some shut-eye. If we're going to solve this mystery, we're gonna need it." Skipper yawned and plopped in his bed.
Skipper relaxed, and shut his eyes. Just as he began drifting asleep, he felt a little trembling penguin, curled up 다음 to him, facing the opposite direction. "Private, what're 당신 doing?" Skipper whispered. "I'm scared." Private whimpered. "Fine," Skipper groaned. His eyes shifted toward Kowalski, who was going to turn off the lights. "How about keeping the lights on tonight?" Skipper said and Kowalski shrugged and went to sleep himself.
As soon as Skipper began snoring, Private felt a bone chilling wave of fear. He was alone. The small soldier tossed and turned, but found no way to sleep. All the shadows of the unfamiliar room made him strain his eyes to figure out what each was. Every once in awhile when he was frightened, he'd whisper to Skipper, who responded the first couple times, but quickly became annoyed from his soldier keeping him from sleep. After Private had scanned the room for the twentith time, he began to doze off.
Private laid awake in his 침대 panting. His intense breathing bewildered himself. What had just happened? He rubbed his eyes, and sat up. Sweat poured down his face. He had to pull off the covers. Private rapidly shoved the sheets off, but found that they were soaked in blood. "Skipper! Skipper, wake up!" Private screeched shaking Skipper's motionless body. He dropped Skipper immediately, and covered his mouth in disgust and shock, when he found a dense slit in Skipper's throat.
He leaped from the bed, and found Kowalski dangling 의해 a rope from the ceiling. Private shocked with terror, tumbled backward, and saw Rico's sepred head on the ground beside him. The 펭귄 hopped to his feet. Blood stained all four walls in gigantic splotches.
Just then footsteps creaked the floorboards outside the door. "Go away!" Private screamed helplessly. Private hopped in bed, and covered himself with the sheets. "I'm warning you!" Private quivered. The door slammed open. The sounds of footsteps increased with the sound of off breathing. Through the white sheet, Private saw a shadow bent over staring at him. It reached 앞으로 for Private's throat. Then it hit him: the lights were off.
Private opened his eyes terrified for his life. He glanced around frequently. Skipper was gone! This time Private was sure it wasn't a dream. Just like in his dream footsteps behind the door caused the floorboards to moan. The frightened 펭귄 stepped out of bed. Skipper flung the door open, and tiredly 모터 달린 자전거, 오토바이 to bed. "Sk-Skippah, what are 당신 doing?" Private stuttered. Skipper seemed to only notice him once he said that, because he immediately turned his head and gave Private an agitated glare.
"What are you doing up?! 당신 should have been asleep five hours ago!" Skipper growled. "I had a nightmare. I-I got scared, but what were 당신 doing?" Private confessed. Skipper groaned and slumped into bed. "Can I talk to 당신 about the nightmare?" Private asked. "Private, you're getting too old for this ..... too old ..." Skipper trailed off to sleep.
"Oh, okay," Private nodded obediently, and took another, 더 많이 sucessful, shot at sleeping.

Skipper was awaken from his dream 의해 a soft tap on the door. He toppled out of bed, 라푼젤 in the sheets. Wearily, he made his way to the door. Just like yesterday, Ellen was at the door with the same eerie manor, but Skipper was still so half asleep from getting up last night, that it didn't phase him. "Good morning! Did 당신 sleep well?" She asked merrily. "Yeah," Skipper yawned. "Breakfast is ready," the maid informed. "All right, the boys and I will be right down." Skipper said.
It was only a matter of time before Private and Rico energeticly raced eachother down the stairs and into the kitchen. Just like yesterday the other team was there. Ellie looked anxious, as she approached Private.
After Skipper got his coffee, with the rest of his team, he asked Ms. Williams 더 많이 질문 about the murder. "Now, were there any people who had grudges against your husband?" Skipper questioned. "Let me think ..." She pondered. While this conversation was taking place, Private was 백일몽 about Ellie. Ivory noticed, and whispered to Ellie, who glanced at Private over her shoulder. Trying to look cool in front of her, Private leaned his back against a cupboard, and rested his head on his flipper. Unfortunately, in doing so, he knocked a glass vase to the floor, where it shattered into glimmering pieces.
"Private!" Skipper scolded. "I'm sorry-" Private cried. "You know what, Private? Just go. You're not helping at all! This isn't a vacation, Private!" Skipper shouted. The girls giggled except Ellie. Private rushed off with tears in his eyes.
Skipper sighed and watched Private slam the door behind him. Everyone was shocked 의해 Skipper's outburst, and remained silent. Private's crush followed him outside, ignoring the rudeness of her friends.
She found him in the garden. "Hey, are 당신 okay?" She asked. "I guess," Private whimpered wiping a tear from his eye. "I don't know why Skipper's in such a bad mood." Private said. "Ramona's like that too. They're just mad about having to work together. 당신 see, a long time ago, Skipper and Ramona trained in the same team together. They began to fall in love, but Skipper was always the best on the team. He even got better than the leader of that team. As time progressed, he was offered the position of being the skipper of another team (yours). Not wanting to hurt Ramona, Skipper left without telling her, but she found out sooner 또는 later." She explained.
"Oh wow, I didn't know that." Private admitted sheepishly. "Yeah, but I really like you, Private." She blushed. "I like 당신 a lot, too." He said sincerely. "Let's promise that no matter what Ramona 또는 Skipper try to do to keep us apart, we'll find a way to be together." She said leaning in closer. "I promise," Private whispered and leaned in to 키스 her. Their beaks embraced, until Ramona shouted at Ellie, who stood up petrified. "I gotta go! Goodbye, Private! Remember our promise." She said, and in a matter of seconds, Private was alone.
He sat there bored, but then he realized something. Some one was right behind him. A flipper held his shoulder lightly. He jumped and turned around. Skipper stood towering over him.
"We need to talk." Skipper said, and sat down 다음 to Private. The little 펭귄 braced himself. "I'm sorry." Skipper sighed. "What?" Private stammered. "Look, I shouldn't have yelled at 당신 like that earlier, and I feel bad, also about last night. I'm just not feeling the best." Skipper explained. "Skippah?" Private asked. "Yes, Private?" Skipper answered. "Are 당신 scared, too?" Private finally said. Skipper paused, and took a deep breath.
Before he answered, the lights went out in the mansion behind them, and a screech bolted through the air. They both rapidly turned to the house, and hustled for the door, but it was locked. "That was Ellie!" Private cried, as Skipper pounded his body against the door, trying to bust in.
