Down on his knees, Quinton reached into his pocket and pulled out a bag of beef jerky to coax the 강아지 close to him. She limped up to him and ate the beef jerky. He allowed her to smell his hand. She began licking his face. Sasha said, "Aw! She likes you, Quinton." Quinton smiled and said, "All 개 like me." The 강아지 allowed Quinton and Sasha to pet her. Sasha said, "Look at her eyes. It's like they have blue, amber, and green mixed in." Quinton said, "She must be part Husky. The multicolored eyes in a Husky is known as parti-colored. I once owned a Husky. Her name was Luna. She had eyes like that. She was a beautiful dog." Sasha said, "I didn't know 당신 had a dog." Quinton said, "Yeah, I did. Sadly, she grew old and went blind, and one day, she just went to sleep and never woke up." A tear rolled down his cheek. Sasha asked, "Quinton, are 당신 crying?" He quickly wiped the tear away and said, "No, I just have something in my eye. That's all." After a pause, he said, "I guess I'll take this 강아지 집 then." Sasha said, "Okay. I'll see 당신 later, Quinton." Quinton carried the 강아지 home. Once at home, he told his parents about her circumstances. His father said, "You can keep the 강아지 if 당신 take her to the vet first." The vet cleaned the puppy's wounds and patched them up. He then searched for a microchip. There was no sign of a microchip. Quinton was happy to bring 집 his new found friend. His mother bought supplies for the puppy. She said, "Quinton, 당신 know 당신 have to pick out a name for the puppy." He said, "I know, but I'm just not sure what to name her." Quinton thought long and hard, trying to come up with a name for his new puppy.

Peaceandlove67 I'm going to let the readers suggest what the puppy's name should be. I think it should be something that has meaning, but not too complicated.

80smusiclover1 I think "Destiny" would be a great name for the puppy, because it was her destiny to be rescued by Quinton.

BingoPB Aw! I like Destiny. That's a good name for the puppy. I also think Thistle would be a good name for the puppy. If she could endure the abuse she faced, that means she's tough. Thistle is a tough name, but not too complicated.

Peaceandlove67 I like those suggestions. I'll take them into consideration.

Rubyrings My suggestions are Luna Jr, Grunge, or Rainbow (on account of her eyes).

Roldan13 I would suggest Alice, for Alice in Chains.

RetroRock64 I would suggest Fortune, because she is fortunate that Quinton found her.

I am feeling much better today. I don't feel great, but I feel much better than I did a few days ago. I was able to go to school today. Michael, Sabrina, and Bridget helped me get caught up in my classes. I'm lucky to have such good friends. Of course, I did feel a bit tired after finishing my homework. I took a nap for a while. When I woke up, it was almost 6:00 pm. I didn't realize I had slept that long. When 공식 만찬, 저녁 식사 time came, I ate really well. I didn't feel like eating much for the past couple of days. My appetite has returned. I think I will go to 침대 early tonight. I'm feeling pretty tired right now. I'm not completely better, but I'm close to it.

I missed school today, because I am sick. I picked up an upper respiratory infection as a result of my allergies to ragweed. It's the only thing I'm allergic to. Of course, of all things to be allergic to, I had to be allergic to something that's hard to avoid. Summer Vacation has been great so far. While I've been enjoying school 더 많이 since I've gained a couple of friends, it's nice to have a break from it. I also received some exciting news. On July 9, I am going to be in Chicago to see The Devil Wants Peace in concert! I was so excited when my uncle told me he was able to afford the tickets. I later told my friend, Michael, "You should have seen me when my uncle told me the good news. I was jumping up and down, crying tears of joy." Normally, I'm not that excitable, but The Devil Wants Peace is one of my 가장 좋아하는 bands. Since I was six, I dreamed of seeing them live, and now, I can stop dreaming. This dream is becoming a reality. Friday the 13th is associated with bad luck, but I think today, I had good luck. I have made 프렌즈 with two kids in band, Michael, who plays the tuba, and Sabrina, who plays the flute. The three of us seem to get along really well. They're 팬 of the Beatles and The Devil Wants Peace, just like me. They're so nice, too.
