	jemgrl323 picked Karen: i think im one of the few that actually really liked karen...and not just because she was a great mother to lucas. i think moira kelly portrays karen so well and yes a huge part of why i love karen is based on how she interacts with lucas....but im also crazy about how karen interacts with the other characters as well. i love karen and nathan scenes (especially in seasons 2 and 3!), karen and brooke scenes, karen and peyton scenes, karen and dan scenes, karen and keith scenes, karen and andy scenes, karen and whitey scenes, karen and deb scenes....and ESPECIALLY karen and haley scenes! i think deb has some funny moments but overall i don't enjoy her scenes as much. and actually some of karen's moments made me laugh a lot....especially when she tries to be a cool mom or tries to be "hip." i find karen's character to have such grace and such class-- yet she's still an adorable dork at heart. i find her interesting and admirable. karen became one of my favorite characters in season 2...when she was fighting with lucas about taking the HCM test, when she kept calling dan an ass and she was being so feisty after lucas moved in with dan...etc. and then in season 3 watching her mourn over keith brought me to tears... i like deb's character, but i don't think i would ever connect with her enough that seeing her cry would make me cry. posted over a year ago. last edited over a year ago
