Leyton4ever I agree but maybe cuz i'm older than most of the people that watch this show i don't see it the same way as they do i don't know.

Leyton4ever completely understandable. i mean regardless of which couple we like, i think we should know by now that you're not gonna change anyone's mind about which couple they like and besides i don't think it really matters. i try to stay away from these debates, besides it's obvious who i like anyway :O)

abs07 um, I'm not too sure why you're angry. did someone talk down at you about your opinion? I personally enjoy debates as long as they're civil/friendly :)

naley_4ever i agree, i'm pretty much neutral in the LP vs. BL debate, and it hurts me sometimes to read some of the things people say to each other just because of their different opinions.

mollyx365 i hate LP/BL battles. they're annoying! it's ok to debate but sometimes it gets ridiculous.

brattynemz Well I only debate when I see opinions I strongly disagree with or if I can't seem to understand the logic behind what they're saying/when I think what they say is ridiculous. But of course I stay nice when I do debates. :]

ObsidianSoul Debating is fine but when everything thats said about everything is a Leyton vs brucas debate it gets very irritating. I posted a pick about how I didnt enjoy 6x11, stating because it was badly acted, badly written and badly costumed. Not because of any couples storyline, but automatically it became about Leyton.

loves-oth ok, i take part in battle cause its fun. :) everyone has to do it once in a while. i'm a bith when it comes to some [when i say some i mean one or two] BLers saying random and comepletey unnecessary things. i'm not trying to be nasty, but that's the way it'll probably be read, knowing fanpop. :) but you have to accept that stupid battles like this will always happen on fanpop, and if you can't then maybe this isn't the place to be! if you get more irritated being on here than enjoying being on here then that's your answer...

abs07 lol, oh laurra. my passionate friend, lol. I see where you're coming from obsidiansoul, but you're fighting a futile battle. Many (not all) Brucas fans often make it about LP when they're making snarky remarks about how cheesy and dumb leyton was in an eppy/scene. So clearly some LP fans will retaliate. Then it doesn't take long for a debate/battle to ensue. I only debate when it's necessary - I personally don't look to turn "everything" into an LPvsBL battle. It's annoying when it happens, but trust me, it ain't gonna stop.

ObsidianSoul What I wrote about is not just about age, I dont really care what age the person is whose once again making something not about a couples battle a battle. I dont care if Leyton and Brucas fans argue, but in the right place, not in EVERYTHING. Ive put my stake in for Brucas many times because thats the couple Im a fan of, but ive watched fans be rude and then 'Oh HEHE it was just a playful discussion'. Thats not learning very well for real life for anyone, if you put down another persons feelings, and some of you seem to think thats what im trying to do here and its not, then there will be consequences to that action, even in debate. It doesn't always get mean and in the right context its fine, I dont care about the millions of repeated picks about which couple is best. Im just saying that this is the OTH spot, not the brucas, naley or leyton spot and itd be nice to see people thinking about OTH as a whole more. This article was written in the spare of the moment when I was peeved because something id asked turned into another shipping debate, my last article which was about my fear that one tree hill was coming to an end turned into one too. I should be able to speak without someone going ZOMG THATS ANTI LEYTON, BRUCAS OR NALEY.

brattynemz lol we can't do anything about that, it's as if we're dreaming for a perfect world - non-existent. You can't control this kind of things, there will always be different opinions, different ways of telling how you feel. I think a pick has been made before and it's like Do you think Leyton is a good on screen couple? and fans just went Leyton = TLA or Leyton is meant to be or whatever. I don't get it, it doesn't even answer the question. So there will always be these kind of things, they will never go away. HEY I DIDN'T USE THAT TO INSULT LP FANS. I just can't think of any other example to use.

abs07 ObsidianSoul that's just people. I've tried to be a peacemaker and got crucified for it. You can't change people. There are die hard fans on this site so words said are touchy to some and "just words" to others. It's unfortunate that some people turn [b]everything[/b] into a battle, but I've accepted that I can't change it. I'm the person I believe I should be and I stand my ground - that's good enough 4 me :)
