Zoro has all of Luffy's pain and sore since the begining of the show. so when Luffy survive the Magelan, he in the fresh condition.
only 1 pirate flag care for Zoro's sake.
lots of pirate flag care for Luffy's sake (for unreasonable something i dont know why they concern more to Luffy than Blackbeard.)
well, first off, luffy said in his big cp9 fight that he has a weak team. because of this, he said that he has to become a lot stronger to make up for it so that noone else would get hurt. second, when zoro took only a tiny bit of luffy's pain after the fight with oz, he was screaming with pain - sure, he survived everything in the end, but look at luffy - was he in the same condition as zoro, no, so luffy could have pushed himself much further if he needed to. luffy has a higher limit, so he obviously pushes more than zoro
Actually both do push themselves to do their best, but between everything I think Luffy is always pushing himself to be the best he can be (well it seems that way to me),he's always determined and willing to do anything to help a friend..which leads me to believe Luffy in this case.
They both push themselves a lot, but I think that Luffy does a little bit more. Not to disregard Zoro's efforts or anything, but Luffy does push himself more.
Both. But Luffy pushes himself to beyond the limits that normal humans can go... I mean, take Gear Two for instance, if Zoro tried something like that, his heart would fail and he would die. Even so, I still think they both push themselves hard.
Oh, and just for a perspective tester, but, if Zoro had a Devil's Fruit, I think he would push himself just as hard as Luffy does now.
Luffy, because Zoro almost died from taking all the exertion from the fight with Oz, meaning Luffy had pushed himself super far. Plus, he did the impossible and recovered from Magellan's poison in record time. He's always pushing himself to and past his limits to protect his nakama.
Luffy has the devil's luck, assuming the devil is the luckiest guy in the world, while Zoro is just plain immortal. Most of his fights involve him getting severely injured, or having to fight tough opponents while enduring the pain and handicap from severe injuries. He's just badass.
I agree with Re-Remember, plus Luffy has a devil's fruit and Zoro doesn't. But to be honest both of these guys are strong as hell. If it came down to it and they actually fought I don't think there will be a winner. The fact that Luffy always fights the strongest enemies is because he's the captain and Zoro is his first mate. Post time-skip though I think Zoro is slacking off, but he still constantly pushes himself but the way i see it Luffy only pushes himself to be stronger when he meets an opponent he can't beat.
Zoro is always constantly training, always resting his body but when it coems to battle it's Luffy pushing himself the most to protect his nakama so depends on time span honestly or rather when they're pushing themselves the most
Zoro not.
