As a 팬 and champion of rap and urban music, we didn't have Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand down as a boyband kind of guy.

But here is Rio partying with the lads from X Factor pop band One Direction after the big game at Old Trafford this week.

Heart-throb youngster Harry Styles, from Holmes Chapel had been to watch the Reds beat Stoke 2-1 with his dad and his bandmate Louis Tomlinson, and they bumped into Rio in the players' lounge.

Rio swiftly updated his Twitter web page with the historic meeting, saying:...

X Factor heartthrob Liam Payne has been left devastated after his sister's boyfriend died after a fight with a 사랑 rival.

Former soldier Craig Glaze, who was dating the One Direction star's sister Nicola, died after he was punched in the head.

It is alleged that Craig was confronted 의해 his best friend Martin Gannon, an ex-lover of Nicola's who had just discovered Craig was dating her, on New Year's Day.

Craig, 25, died from a single 펀치 to the head, police say.

Martin has been arrested and charged with manslaughter.

Although we’re pretty pleased that Matt Cardle won The X Factor – as is he, with all the pussy he’s going to get – listening to what would have been the new One Direction single is a bit sad. We can still see their disappointed little faces now.

It took about three 분 for the boys’ cover of Forever Young to get leaked onto YouTube, and it’s already racked up 40,000 hits. And although it may cost us our 거리 cred (it’s fine, we’ve got loads of it anyway, innit bruv), we quite like it.

Cowie’s Caitlin Liddell (13), and pals Bryony Devlin (16) and Shannon Smith (13) were the envy of their 프렌즈 after getting the chance to chat to teen idols Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson.

Niall’s P.O.V:

I woke up to a very worried looking leah smiling at me. i could only see with one eye. i smiled back at her when i saw her but i was in really bad pain.

I looked down and saw that my arm was in a cast. “what happened?” i asked, confused.

“uggh, that idiot david knocked 당신 out.” She smiled. I went red in the face. I think she saw that i was embarrassed because she quickly said: “but don’t worry! He is all taken care of!” i smiled.

“ha ha! What did ya do to him?” i asked. She looked around VERY guiltily....
